I like old and new music. Most anything but rap and hip hop. Even country as long as it's not too twangy.
MOVIES
Suspense and action movies. I like an occasional cry too...
BOOKS
The authors I like are Sylvia Browne, Dean Koontz, Stephen King...ohmygoodness (haha). I also do like love stories, but they have to be exciting as well. Just love suspense.
HOBBIES
Reading, internet, my pets, my kids (grown), tv, movies, gardening, traveling(if that ever happens).
I've raised my boys and now it's my turn. I was single for many years, and raising them was tough, and they mean the world to me. They have always been my strength when I was down and worried about how I was going to take care of them. They have returned the favor and because of some health problems, have been there for me more than I would have hoped. I currently work as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst for the State of California. I work on many regulations involving Food Stamps, Welfare, Children Protective Services, etc. I have worked for almost 35 years and am looking to retire in a few years; although I don't know what I'll do with myself. I have cats and fish. I love nature and all it stands for. I believe we have to be kind and respect mother nature for it to be kind back to us. As we notice, we have not been respectful of her for a very long time. Looking to make some really good friends. If you invite me to be your friend...very nice to meet you! It's so hard writing about yourself. Love the paranormal. I know there is so much out there that we have only touched the surface of. I have never had the opportunity to ghost hunt, but I read alot about it and watch my favorite ghost hunters on tv and wish I could be there. Over the last several years I have had little things happen in my house. From things being moved and relocated; disappearing completely to things 'balancing' on other things. WHOA. haha. It plays little pranks like it's having fun. Tying shoe laces in knots over knots. Doors opening and closing. Our dog hides alot. Our friend finally saw 'him' sitting in the recliner. She's very sensitive. Thought we had company. lol. Well, we didn't. He was acting like he was part of the conversation. Anyway, I look forward to reading about your haunts and your lives. Very glad to be here.
I'm basically very shy, but turn out to be the opposite when I get to know someone. I look forward to learning alot here and making alot of new friends.
I recently joined this team. I hope I can be an asset. I only have personal experiences but I know I can learn. I'm very excited about it. I wrote a small blog recently. Always been my dream.
TURN ON'S
My friends and family. They are as precious as gold to me. I appreciate them all so much as I get older. Although I've had 'little' things happen in my home, I really haven't experienced a 'live' experience. Would love to 'see things happen'. Know what I mean? I hope to sometime in my life get a chance to do that!
TURN OFF'S
Rude people who think they know everything and turn out to know nothing at all. People who are lazy and expect handouts when they do nothing for themselves.
