I like all rock, well most of it. Not so much head banging stuff cause my head banging days are over. Sometimes I get in the mood to listen to Jazz.
I don't care for rap too much, can't understand the words. (oh lord I sound like my mother)

BOOKS

I never seem to take the time to sit down and actually read a book like I used to before the internet.
But I buy them all the time thinking I'm going to read them. My collection of unread books is growing.
I love murder mystery books and poetry. My fav poet is Yates. I tend to be drawn to stories where women are the heroins or main characters.

I've lived in Columbus, Ohio all my life and was introduced to the paranormal when I was a young child by my grandmother. A lot of my beliefs about spirits stem from what she told me growing up. I'm a hard sell unless I've actually experienced it or seen it for myself. I'm a healthy skeptic. I don't believe everything I read or hear about. I believe most claims of the paranormal are explainable.
I have two children, the oldest being 27 and the youngest 16 yrs old.

06/30/2008 20:18:57 Just stopping by to say hi and catch up with everyone. It's been a long month here, sorry I haven't been around to much. It's been just crazy here. Things are starting to look up a bit. My dad got out of the hospital recovering from a small heart attack, my mom is home recovering from her first heart attack after two weeks in the hospital. Hopefully things will go better now that we have them both back at home again. My mom has a long road ahead of her, but God willing things will go good for her, I don't think she will ever be back to normal, but she's doing ok. Phil took me up north Sunday, to try to get some more work done on our camper we are building and darned if I didn't pull my back out again. Heck, this too will get better. I still had a nice day, and it felt good to just get away. Hope all is going well with you. Hope you have a wonderful week. Hugs, Vicky
