Hi. Thanks for stopping by my page.
Since I was a kid I have been interested in the paranormal and parapsychology and I would read everything I could get my hands on. I started conducting formal investigations in 1999 when I joined the American Ghost Society (AGS) and became an Area Rep for Northern California. I'm a big fan of Troy's work and his book, The Ghost Hunters Guidebook, was what really got me started.
From 1999 to 2006 I conducted investigations around the greater San Francisco, CA area as co-founder and general manager of
Bay Area Paranormal Investigations.
In August of 2005 I completed the Rhine Research Center's Parapsychology Summer Study program under Drs.
Dean Radin and
Christine Simmonds-Moore.
In June of 2006 I relocated to Tucson, AZ where I became an AGS Area Rep.
We have a new group starting in the Tucson Area (
Tucson Paranormal Research). I also assist in laboratory based research of Mediums at the
University of Arizona. In addition I took a position as Director of Operations at
The Windbridge Institute for Applied Research in Human Potential. All this keeps me a little too busy these days!
My primary research interest is Survival of Consciousness and I see ghost watching (I actually really dislike the term Ghost Hunting, I find it kind of adversarial) as one way of trying to answer questions about the continuity of life after physical death.
Other interests include general psi phenomena (ESP and PK), energy healing and directed intention. I am a member of AA-EVP and do a lot of EVP work.
I'm always looking for people to collaborate and work with, so please feel free to drop me an note!
Mark
