I am a ghost hunter, but so far my bag is empty. :)
I am a new member of the American Ghost Society.
I have several pieces of equipment. A thermocoupler thermometer, digital video and still cameras, 35 mm camera, digital and tape recorders, and 2 emf meters.
I have seen many anomolies but they have all turned out to be explainable. But it is sooooo much fun to hunt for things that go bump in the night.
People always ask "What is a ghost, a dead person, a demon, or something else?" I don't know. I think there are lots of different energies around that we don't know about. I do believe some are demons that need to be cast out. I also work in that area.
I have a sony icd-p320 digital recorder. I placed it on the grave stone and started asking questions. (If I knew I would get something I would have tried to sound more intelligent.!! ) There was a wind blowing around 5 to 10 mph. It was blowing from the south and the recorder was on the north side of the grave stone. At first I just thought the tapping was the wind rocking the recorder. But then I compared the wind sound in the recorder to the tapping and they didn't matchup! At the end the tapping got stronger and it didn't sound like the recorder rocked and tapped and then fell back but instead tapped several times without sounding like it fell back. That would take a strong wind.

One person worked on the evp file and heard "'we're here' and 'I didn't know'".
