I love music - rock, rockabilly, metal, grunge, old pop songs, classical ... Music speaks to the soul. Just don't play me any of that new twangy country or hard-core gangsta rap and we'll get by fine.

I'm fond of the comedy, horror and action/thriller type movies. Some of my favorites through the years: "An American Werewolf in London," "UHF," "Rockula," "My Best Friend is a Vampire," "My Stepmother is a Werewolf," "Seven," "Memento," the first "Matrix" movie, "Star Trek," "Star Wars" (the ORIGINAL trilogy - the prequels were crap), "Practical Magic," "Young Einstein," "Fight Club," the Kevin Smith cycle, Guy Ritchie's stuff - "Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels" and *grumble* I can't think of the other one's name. I hear there is a new one due out and am excited to see it. Francic Ford Coppolla's version of "Dracula," "From Hell," "Hell Comes to Frogtown," "Secret Window," "Heathers" ... I think you get the idea ...

I am an obsessive bibliophile. There are very few books I have met that I haven't liked ... except romance novels (generally - there are a few I like) and "inspirational chick stuff," which I find not only pretentious, but gag-inducing.

I have a lot of varied interests - ancient history, the paranormal, the Others (vampires, werewolves, the Gentry, etc.), herbalism, gemology ... I'm an obsessive bibliophile that absorbs books like some people watch TV. I love critters, be they furred, feathered or scaled. I currently have 15 rats, which are starting to get elderly, a cat who is about 7 months old and a dog who is 3 1/2. (as of 11/25/08)

I became interested in the paranormal in my late teens/early 20s, which I understand is fairly normal. It was at that point that I realized I had always been called by rocks - crystals, gems, just plain ol' rocks 
. I have a sort of affinity with them, I guess, which is strange being a water sign (then again, my Rising sign is Virgo, so there you go 
...). I started to study up on herbology and eventually got myself a Tarot deck, which works well for me in helping me to connect to the Overall. I consider myself a solitary witch, focused on worship of Goddess in Her many forms. I'm not good about using forums, etc., but I need to start to reach out and connect to people. I've been alone too long. So .. talk to me, people
