HELLO,

Howdy
there,
Samantha is my name, I'm a native Washingtonian. However... in 1984, my mother and I moved to Southern California, spending the rest of my Junior high and High school years there. By age 21 I longed once again for the Pacific Northwest that I moved back to Seattle,WA. Now out on my own, living the city life, I made the greatest circle of friends. You know thinking back... I would have to say those were the best years! Then by age 27, I moved to Everett,WA., purchased a townhouse. Age 28, I found my need to know God. Age 34, I married. Now... I'm 38, recently divorced and this has by far been the hardest year of my life. I can only look to God and what he has instore for my life next.

My interests are:
I have a very artistic side with a passion for decorating and gardening. I also love to junk shop for antiques and such on my days off, just for fun and to pass the time.

I also am a Make-up artist
(at one time for M.A.C. cosmetics) I now do make-up for weddings and parties. I enjoy the feeling of making people look and feel good about themselves.

Another things I enjoy are...
Road trips, camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and by far my favorite pastime is sitting around a campfire with my friends.

I have never been on a ghost hunt with a group, however it sure sounds thrilling. I've been interested in the paranormal for many years. Just within the last few years, I felt I've wanted to jump in with both feet and find the truth to what I have seen.

"When the trees their summer splendor
Change to raiment red and gold,
When the summer moon turns mellow,
And the nights are getting cold;
When the squirrels hide their acorns,
And the woodchucks disappear;
Then we know that it is autumn,
Loveliest season of the year."

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

When we are afraid we ought not to occupy ourselves with endeavoring to prove that there is no danger, but in strengthening ourselves to go on in spite of the danger. ~Mark Rutherford

Here we are once again the beginning of the summer season!!! Shades of long summer days, suntans, camping, and lots of other outdoor activities. This years holiday is already being suppressed by rising cost of fuel, foods, and everything else except opinions, (they are still free)!!!

Remember that there is all kinds of fun, some you don't have to go far to find. Memorial day is full of (fallen hero's), as well as veteran based activities in any town USA. I'm sure some of you are saying, what kind of freak is this guy? Try something new this time close to home!!! Some of us will get drunk and crazy, what does it matter where you do it, most of us won't know the difference by midnight! Find someone with a pool, have a pig roast, keg party. Fun is Fun, no matter where you are!

Just do this freak a big favor and stop for just a minute and say a thank you to the lost souls who did what they did, so you could be all depressed because you can't go to the beach!!! Find that Christmas spirit we all seem to have where we are almost nice to each other. Shake a soldier's hand, tell a disabled veteran, as well as any veteran how much their sacrifice means to us. For god's sake folks it is only one day!!!! Be nice for a few hours! It is a start, we are standing on the edge of a time when things will be very different for Americans. Food shortages, heating and cooling costs we might have to choose to eat Ramen noodles (like college kids) to buy fuel?

Maybe we should start treating these great American holidays like some family reunion, where you realize that there are people there who you might never see again! Have fun!!!! Even if it hurts! Happy Memorial day, and be safe!!!
