I go through waves, when only certain music will appease me. Lately it has been Cat Stevens and James Taylor, but end of August through early September it was Red Hot Chili Peppers (the older stuff-not this new wacky stuff they have out). Whatever the mood strikes.

I find the older I get, the more I nitpick every new movie that I see. Maybe, I'm just reaching a point in life where reality is more interesting than fiction. That aside, my all-time favorites are: Willy Wonka (with Gene Wilder), The Princess Bride, and Ella Enchanted (don't laugh!).

Lately the only books I've been looking at are textbooks. (Maybe I should invest in a book of short stories and read one every night, at least then I would get some reading for enjoyment done...) My hands-down favorite fictional work would have to be The Princess Bride. Although I enjoy a vast variety of literature.

Currently, I'm too busy for hobbies. As a matter of fact, right now I'm just avoiding the inevitable...housework and homework (not really avoiding, just taking a well-deserved break). When I have the time, I enjoy sketching, photography, sewing, knitting, crocheting and reading. My favorite hobby of all is learning. I love to learn whatever I can. Somethings take a little longer to sink in (history and knitting), but I keep trying.

Above all other things I am a mother. I have three beautiful children: 12 (soon to be 13-spooky), 11, and 7. I have a husband who loves me immensely. I am a full-time student in the paralegal program at our local technical college. I have a hard time opening up to people, but an easy time letting others open up to me. My favorite feeling is the one you get when you know you've just helped somebody out. As far as the paranormal, I have been researching different aspects of it since I was around 12. Back then, it was mostly the research you do through books. Lately, though I have been involved in a little more hands-on type learning which I quite enjoy. My reasoning behind researching is to understand (and of course because I love to learn). I have had some personal experiences throughout my life. I see my children having similar experiences now (which is kind of spooky), mostly just passed-on loved ones saying hi.
All-in-all I enjoy a simple and peaceful life. |

I think my most favorite thing in the world is when as the sun rises and reflects off of the trees in my backyard. Now, don't get me wrong here, I'm not talking everyday sunrises. Just every once in a while the sun will reflect off of the trees in such a matter as to make the leaves turn to a brilliant gold.
