I've never really had any paranormal encounters, but I strongly believe in it and would like to encounter a spirit/ghost.
Recently attended WISP, which was fun. It was my first paranormal convention and group ghost hunt. I've gone on a few of my own to a few reputedly haunted cemeteries; with no success. That was unfortunately the same experience I had during the WISP weekend. It was still good to listen to the speakers and to learn new things.

Hey I came upon your page and I read what you said about the WISP conference. I was also there.... and like you Ive never experienced andything but I believe in spirits. I thought I was the only one there who has never experienced anything! But I was hoping at the conference it would be 'my first' but like you, nothing happened to me. Just wanted to say I know how ya feel, I was very dissapointed but all together it was a great conference! sorry this is so long! bye bye
In my experience most ghosts don't know they are dead. Sometimes death was too sudden to notice. Sometimes they are caught and 'reliving' the last violent moment. Some are atheists and are confused by still having consciousness and what seems like a body...but nobody sees / hears them. Some are just as oblivious now as they were in life and are still puttering around the kitchen or bedroom... they think WE are the ghosts. So die under anestheisa, drugs or alcohol. They tend to look for someone to possess.
I do a talk called 'Everything You Know About Ghosts is Dead Wrong.' Maybe I need to do a teleseminar for IAH? Or provide a recording to download?
