A hard choice if ever there was one.. Start with everything by the Beatles; John Lennon; Anything by Jimmy Buffett or Tom Petty; Peter Gabriel; Kate Bush; Enya; Dr. John; The Doors; Blood, Sweat, and Tears (The Child is Father to the Man); Spiro Gyra; Talking Heads; UB40; George Harrison; Bruce Springsteen; Billy Joel; Roy Orbison; The Cars; Chad & Jeremy (stepping into the wayback machine now); The Beach Boys (early years); James Taylor; Carole King; Jerry & the Pacemakers (Ferry Across the Mersey!); Paul Revere and the Raiders; Ricky Nelson (first 45 I ever bought); Jefferson Airplane; Santana; Paul Simon; and... did I mention the Beatles?

Serenity, The Thomas Crown Affair; The Fifth Element; Bridget Jones' Diary; Stardust; A Hard Day's Night; Spirited Away; Batman Begins; Pan's Labyrinth; Back to the Future; Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Big Trouble in Little China; Friends (enchanting little movie with soundtrack by Elton John) Star Trek: First Contact; The Uninvited; The Lion King (my daughter's first movie); Yellow Submarine ~ just to name a few...

Cosmos by Carl Sagan; Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! by Richard Feynman; What Is The Name of This Book By Raymond Smullyan; The Harry Potter Series; Bangkok 8 by John Burdett; Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss; The Shining by Stephen King; Life Before Life by Jim Tucker; The Secret Gospel by Morton Smith; Anything by Carl Hiaasen or Tom Dorsey; Bridgett Jones' Diary by Helen Fielding (much funnier than the movie); Stardust by Neil Gaimann; Good Omens by Gaiman & Pratchett; Island of the Sequined Love Nun my Christopher Moore; Ghost Story by Peter Straub; Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Novels and Stories by Arthur Conan Doyle; Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit; Wolfen and Communion by Whitley Streiber; In the Night Kitchen by Maurice Sendak; The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (as well as - Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency); Touchpoints by T. Berry Brazelton; A Millon and One Cats (first book I can recall reading); The Complete Works of Mark Twain (blasted through those in high school); Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein; ~and many others but these were the more important ones!

Ghost Hunting, duh! I'm on the board of directors for the Association for the Study of Unexplained Phenomenon(asup-inc.org) Reading anything and everything that I can get my hands on that passes the interest quotient, especially that which furthers self-development and finding the right path through this life and beyond.

I'm a teacher; twice degreed by the University of Florida - I've taught first grade for a decade, high school for a year, and middle school technology courses in between. (And even took a break from the public sector to work a few years at Lockheed Martin and Intel) I was born and raised in St. Augustine, Florida, came of age in the sixties. I've also lived in Tampa, Florida; Gainesville, Florida; Mesquite, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Austin, Texas; Colorado Springs, Colorado, and now Frisco, Texas.(and many houses and apartments as well) I'm a runner at heart (been hitting the road since '82); mostly vegetarian and significantly devoted to a healthy lifestyle and personal development. Quiet and reserved; introverted, slightly off-kilter sense of humor, and deeply romantic. And if you've come this far - answer this: Cake, or death?

First and foremost (since you gotta have your priorities in the right place): Raising Savannah. Considerable amount of effort there but boy, you should see the resulting outcome! A wonderful and amazing girl through and through.

Traffic ~As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way...
