Blog Entry: Just out of curiousity, what are your thoughts on Halloween? Do you believe it is an anti-religious holiday, "satin's birthday," just a fun holiday for kids, a fun holiday to be anyone you want, or just a day that spirits rome the earth? There are so many different beliefs, prospectives, and opinions on this particular holiday, it amazes me. I find this whole subject interesting on how people used to look at this holiday and the spirit world. Halloween is my favorite holiday, not because of spirits or satin, but because I love to dress up and feel like a kid again. My mother never let me trick or treat as a child because it was "satin's birthday." This is what they taught us in church and what my mother believed. I think of it as plain fun and never miss a chance to dress up for Halloween.
