Blog Entry: I am the founder of OHPRI (Ohio Paranormal Research and Investigations) based out of Northwest Ohio. We are currently looking for a Community Manager, basically an event manager for our organization. You don't have to be a member of OHPRI so basically anyone can do it. We are currently working on an Internet TV Series with a local broadcasting network and we need someone to help manage our message boards, myspace, facebook, contacting media outlets for our shows, events, etc. Below is the ad: Ohio Paranormal Research and Investigations is currently looking for a community manager to help grow our online community. We are going to be starting a special project that will require someone to help grow our online presence and fan base. This person will be required to manage events, keep discussions going in our online forums, and provide updates to our main website. They will also be responsible for contacting media outlets related to the paranormal, such as magazines, other television or internet broadcasts, radio broadcasts, and podcasts. The right person for this position will be passionate about interacting with people and connecting with fans. They will also have experience with online communities. Past management experience is not required but is definitely a plus. You will not necessarily be required to become a member of OHPRI but that possibility will be considered.
