Subject: Secondhand Lion
Content: I recently took a stuffed lion. I've been helping a woman from out of state find a group in her area, for she has some odd phenomena that's been going on for some time. She recently wrote to me and told me she had gone to a second hand store and had been "drawn to buy this lion" but as soon as she got it home it "gave her the creeps" and her granddaughter was deathly afraid of it. I felt as if I should take the lion off her hands, even knowing how dangerous that can be. I feel as if being a paranormal investigator can sometimes be like being a cop. That sometimes we must protect those out there that are not as versed in these subjects as we are. And well, I felt very skeptical of it and well, have to admit I wanted to experiment and see what came of it.
So today I went to pick it up at the post office. I do not immediately get any feelings with it. I find it sort of cute, actually, and I am a Leo, so it might have a home. I do trust the feelings I get, when it's something bad, I feel as if I'm strangling almost. It's this nasty awful feeling right around my throat and it feels very different from the sort of pleasant tingling I get from a human spirit. But so far, I get nothing, either way. I've learned to trust my feelings now, especially after an event where I got that feeling just before an empath that I've done many experiments and had some astounding personal experiences with had an empathic event that matched how I felt. (I'll have to tell you about it sometime.) So my thinking at this point, before I've tried to do a few experiments with it and used a bit of religious provoking, is that it is either not "haunted" which to me would mean "possesed" by a nasty, or it is hiding from me and has disengaged from its host, the lion.
I figure safe rather than sorry, so if it does not prove to do anything, I will have it blessed and keep it, for I love lions, LOL! Or if it does prove positive it will have a new and permanent home at the Unitarian Church, where it will also be blessed. But being curious as always, I was hoping you guys could take a look at the picture and see what you feel about it, if anything at all. I do have a party for my friend to attend tonight, but before I go, and after I come home, I'm going to do a little playing with this lion and see what comes of it. Wish me luck! And, as always, thanks for the help!!
