Content: The Lesser Keys of Solomon appear to text used in summoning demons. However, the rituals seem to rely heavily on appeals to God, Jehova, to protect the conjurer and give him the power to subject the demons to his will. But this seems to contradict the hermetic view of God, which is considered "THE ALL" rather than a personal God. I know that the occult contains many mysteries and I probably just do not understand at this point in the learning curve, but this doesn't make any sense to me. If God is THE ALL, why appeal to it for protection when in fact you are part of THE ALL. Would you not possess the power of protection and to subjagate these demons to your will?
