Subject: How to safely help my daughter develope her skills
Content: My daughter who is 11 has discovered she has the ability to move small objects by thought. I have watched her move a hanging object which she could move one direction, stop it and then move it in another direction. I made sure all vents to her room were blocked, there were not drafts ect and had her do it many more times. A draft would not cause the object to move, stop and then change directions...would it? I had two complete skeptics watch her and they could not find an explanation and one of them is a former military and law enforcement investigator. My daughter also let it slip that she sees auras though she did not know that is what they are called nor did she realize that everyone doesn't see them. She has also seen "energy balls" for lack of a better word many times. When she first saw them I told her they were fairies...She was five...I couldn't see them just went by her description and I didn't want to scare her. I see energy fields around people, animals and plants but they have the same color -well really just a brighter field about 6 inches or so around the subject. My mother also sees them, she sees colors but doesn't know what they mean. My daughter sees colors also but I really don't know what they mean and the different web sites I have looked at seem to be contradictory. I have a few concerns I have had problems with "evil" spirits in the past...mostly because I accidently opened doors I shouldn't have while "fiddling" in the occult and paranormal...Only good stuff or at least that was the intention. I was young at the time- 18-20. How can I safely help my daughter develop her skills without opening portals for undesirables? She has seen a few spirits -mostly my grandfather - who she thought was our neighbor dressed funny walking around the house. It was later when I put old pictures up of him that she identified him. I have "visitations" but thats not a problem for me. When I was younger age 5-10 it was bad because people I didn't know would come and show me stuff-usually how they died which of course scared me to death so I shut it down the best I could. Now the visitations are pleasant and usually people I have known. I suspect that since she is approaching puberty this PK energy is starting to peak...I believe it would be better for her to know about it and be able to control it than it manifest as poltergiest activity. My sister did that... As for her other "talents" she wants to develop them and I want to help her do it safley. We live in a small bible belt town so she can't really share this with her friends as there is no telling what "hell" she would be put through and I have warned her of this repeatedly. But when you live your whole life with something -you don't know that it's not experienced by everyone. I suspect I do not know the full extent of her abilities yet because of that reason. Is is safe to develop these abilities- my youngest also sees things. What precautions if any do I need to take. I don't want a repeat of what I went through. I feel that since they have these gifts (which run in my family on both sides)that it would be wrong not to help them develop them if that is what they want to do. I just want to be safe about it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
