Subject: From the Supervisor's Desk with Love
Content: To Whomever It May Concern, What is God? God is an unseeable being, an entity, a mirage of endless love and for those who fear Him, unending wrath. I would like you to think of the Pyramid of Power when you read this small worknote. A hierarchy of people, much like in medieval times it went Squire to Knight to Duke to Prince to Queen to King. What I'm trying to say is there is always one person on top and you can devote this idea to much more then just politics and heresay at the workplace, it also works for consciousness. There's different states of consciousness and the seeking of knowledge will bring that state up from the roots to the sky, much like a promotion. If one person achieved a high enough state of consciousness then they would be considered superconscious of everything, and anything, in essence, a God, I prefer to call it "Boss" but he's on vacation. So where does that prayer of yours go exactly? Would it go to the person that you subconsciously knew to be of a higher state? Or would it go straight up to the Big Guy? Well much like the workplace you always report to your supervisor, and he goes to his supervisor if it's a problem he can't deal with. So who's the boss? Well it's not hard to imagine that God gets fired a lot for not doing his job. I myself lost my faith in God when my 8 yr old cousin collapsed dead at the doctor's office. In fact, you can say I have developed a bit of a vendetta against him for my loss. To sum this up in layman's terms I've decided that there is only one person that can see the universe through my eyes and that's me. Making me the God of my own existence and as such everyone else can be the God of their own existence as well. Unfortunately for me people refuse to believe that, they'd rather dump their burdens on the next person in line instead of hold them for themselves. I say give the big guy a break. Because all that power of belief and prayer is going somewhere and we don't know what that person will do with it or what he could be capable of. I'd feel much more secure keeping it to myself. So if there is a God out there then I say this to him. I'm just a supervisor but I've not yet run into a problem that requires your intervention so go ahead and relax, it's taken care of.
