Subject: Please help Ratchet!!!
Content: I saw this myspace bulletin and could not help but be involved.  There's got to be a better way to solve these dilemnas in Iraq, this is not the first case I've heard of. The myspace bulletin that I read about this, and I'm sorry the html won't work here, so I put the link to the petition under the bulletin message for anyone interested in signing: She signed our petition and said: 10:40 pm PDT, Oct 8, Gwen Beberg, Minnesota " THANK YOU TO EVERYONE SUPPORTING MY DOG!! I can't get this done without the hundreds of people supporting me, nay, THOUSANDS! I am moved to tears. Thank you, over an over, for taking our story to heart and contributing to Ratchet's wagging tail being the first thing to greet me when I go home! ...." Aaahhhhh SWEET!!!!!!!!!!! Share the news! Gwen knows we're working hard for her and her dog. Come home safe - Gwen & Ratchet, as well as all our soldiers abroad. Please sign the petition if you have not done so already: Clemency for Ratchet Thanks again and keep sending this out to friends and family so we can get the military to release her dog to her!!! M.A.R.S. Safe Haven Terrie (Gammy), Rachel & Frodo This is where you can sign the petition if you'd like to help. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/2/clemency-for-ratchet   My words when I signed the petition: Nothing good has come out of the war in Iraq.  How can it be that when there is a chance to do some good where all else is death, destruction and sadness, that a small battle won cannot mean anything?  Isn't every life sacred?  You may say, "he's just a dog" but how many hearts has he touched in his short life.  We can not measure the value of a life, for we know not how many lives that one life can impact.  This dog has already saved one soldier, what does his future bring?  Well, we'll never know, unless he's saved and allowed to keep touching other souls in need. A couple of pictures I stole of Ratchet, I hope they don't mind, but once you've started thieving, I guess it becomes second nature! I know I wouldn't have been able to resist this baby!
