Subject: No longer a TAPS fan, I had enough...
Content: First question I wonder with so many ghost groups out there. If TAPS got little evidence... ....How many would really be out there trying to get there own trophies? As Indiana Jones makes that work look like an adventure. When an Archeologist might spend 8 months digging up on one artifact. Suddenly watching sunday Golf is more exciting. The point is this. TAPS makes it look too easy, people go out with high expectations, and with low standards as to what should really be called 'evidence'. If they didn't seem to get evidence everywhere they go as it is more true with real cases, a few shows might get at best only a 'stomach gurgle' noises recorded. Imagine is playing guiar was as easy as buying "ROCK STAR" or "GUITAR HEROES" for Playstation. How many bands would there be out there? How many team truly have a qualified person who can analyize photos, video and audio recordings? This will ruffle feathers, but I watched some special episode of TAPS last week, where they recaped some old evidence, and I realize better now. How much of that is likely faked. Sorry. Use your head in this one or example: Grants feet being uncovered by a suppose spirit as he laid in bed. What are the odds he would have the camera fixed on that spot and get something on TV? Also, had anyone notice how the pull came from underneath the bed blanket from a localize spot like in a piece or string pinned under the blanket could accomplish? The voices in the Stanley Hotel basement of a little girl saying "hello" (I think the words were), it sounded off twice, and both are identical in the tone and sound, etc. In otherwords like a replay of a recording. (check it out for yourself) As I watched this episopde last week, I also saw how people said how much business TAPSbrought these varies locations. There is a certain power in that. Being able to go to a place, showcase it, and then officially dub it as a 'paranormal hotspot' as it was on TV and Jason and Grant gave it their "stamp of approval". I think part of this is is to keep reality TV out of true paranormal research and such related serious work, that is not designed to be 'entertainment'
