I live in southwestern Pennsylvania about 25 miles south of Pittsburgh with my wife and two sons. The boys are going to be eight and five next month. They were born two days apart on the 22 and 24 of August. I am the supervisor at a Sheltered workshop for mentally handicapped adults in Pittsburgh. I've been in the field since my senior year in college 17 years ago. Working with the mentally challenged taught me the patience to deal with children. Imagine being surrounded with 30 -45 people who function at the level of a six year old. Then do it for 17 years. I have a LOT of patience. Anyway, my Mom and Dad recently went on a couple of ghost hunts in local cemetaries and got some good pics, I've always been intrigued with paranormal things. So, I decided to get in on the action as it were. A couple of the pictures in my gallery my Dad took, but the green mist/something I took between my neighbor's houses. Interesting story as to how I was asked to take this picture. If anyone would like to hear it, please ask me and I'll blog it. Well in closing, I consider myself a great listener and welcome any comments, questions, etc. So, bring it on!!!

Hello my favorite on-line Parrot Head...How's the feathers?? Doing just fine, funny too..I was thinking of you yesterday and was going to write this week. Been having well problems here at my house. Seems it is going dry and I'm having to hook up to city water..UGH!! Also been traveling a bit. Just got home last week from Los Angeles spending 10 days with a girlfriend. Went to Florida in July and another 10 days with a friend there. Had a wonderful time at both places. Been at my Parrot Head meeting tonight. All my gang is doing fine and still ask about dad. How is he doing? Better I hope! We'll be back on our Pirate ship on the 20th. in full pirate gear, in one of the city's parks raising money for the heart asso. Jimmy was here in northern Va. over the weekend and Monday. I didn't get to go due to the well problems but heard alot tonight about it. Some are still nursing hang-overs!! Have you ever heard of such a thing?? Hahahaha!!! Hang-overs from a Buffett concert!! Been there, done that!! Great to hear from you, let's keep in closer touch...still holding onto the shaker and thinking of you!!!

Long time, no hear. How have you been doing? It's been soooo long since we've talked, I don't even remember when it was last. This summer has been so nuts with me, I haven't been on the computer much. I hope you summer was good, please drop me a line when you get a chance. Keep the salt close at hand!!!
Just stopping by to say hi and catch up with everyone. It's been a long month here, sorry I haven't been around to much. It's been just crazy here. Things are starting to look up a bit. My dad got out of the hospital recovering from a small heart attack, my mom is home recovering from her first heart attack after two weeks in the hospital. Hopefully things will go better now that we have them both back at home again. My mom has a long road ahead of her, but God willing things will go good for her, I don't think she will ever be back to normal, but she's doing ok.
Phil took me up north Sunday, to try to get some more work done on our camper we are building and darned if I didn't pull my back out again. Heck, this too will get better. Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. Hope your dad is going good by now. We have been so darn busy at the shop. I guess it keeps me out of trouble. We have our big Syttende Mai celebration coming up in town this weekend. We will have thousands of people stopping in Stoughton. It really gets crazy around here. Sometimes I wish I could just leave town, but I also love to see what's going on, and I just love the junk street food. LOL Cotton candy, cheese curds, brats and all the great stuff like that.
