When I came home from work, our home was empty.
I decided to do laundry. I went in my son's bathroom and got his clothing out of his hamper. I noticed there was sand in the bathtub. I was curious why he would put sand in his bathtub.
After loading the laundry, I settled on the couch and called his cell phone. I asked why there was sand in the bathtub. He said, "That's where we put the snake." I asked what snake? He said ,"We found a big black snake in the woods and brought it home so we could ask Levi (oldest brother) what kind it was."
Now I have pulled my legs up on the couch because there was no snake in the bathtub, just dirt. And I have just been wandering through the house with a large unidentified snake on the loose. I said there was no snake in there.
He told me they had taken it back out to the woods. I was breathing easier now, and could stop scanning the room I was in! For a second there, I was really worried! Raising boys has certainly been an adventure!
