I felt about blogging so here goes!  For as long as I can remember, I have always been into the paranormal.  I've had experiences since I was a child, that have not been explained in a way that makes sense to me.  Whether it has been hearing my name called in an empty house, or constant feelings of being watched.  I don't claim to be a "sensitive", nor do I really think I could imagine handling being one!  The older I get, the more I want to explore the world of the paranormal.  I live in a small, small town in Texas, that according to my husband's grandmother, used to be a pretty shady place a long time ago.  I live in Richland, TX, and it used to be known as Black Gold TX.  She said the town used to be bustling with outlaws and brothels, and it wasn't uncommon for murders to happen with the bad blood amongst the townspeople.  Today, Richland is more like a pit-stop...population around 260 people.  When talking to her, she's told me that the town has seen many tragedies, including several people who have lost their lives due to trying to go over the railroad tracks before the train passes.  A murder-suicide occurred within a mile from her house, about 15-20 years ago.  Strange things happen in this town that the elders do not want to talk about.  I plan to see what I can uncover, whether through records, or interviews, but I think I might run into a few road blocks along the way.  I feel there are more things here that need to be explained.  I've taken a trip to the local cemetary, which is less than a mile from my home and have experienced odd things, and taken some questionable photos that I will be posting on the site.  I feel that I only grazed the surface.  What direction do you all think I should take in obtaining more information...should I take things slow?

I think that I would take things slow as far as dealing with older people. Sometimes they don't want to talk about bad things. You have to gain their trust first. Sometimes it's very easy to talk to older people and sometimes it's not. You will know as your asking questions. I don't think I would jump from person to person to fast. It might make them clam up. I think you will know how to talk to them after a few minutes of talking to them on how far you should go with the questions. I can't wait to hear more. Good luck with everything. Vicky

Thanks for letting us in on this exciting adventure.

I would let my feelings and instincts guide my way, but somehow I'm sure you already know this, lol.

Happy hunting, and I'm looking forward to your up-dates and pics.
