Did you ever feel haunted???

Do you ever get the feeling that you are being watched when you thought you were alone?

Do you see things move out of the corner of your eye only to turn and find nothing there?

Have you heard noises or objects move in another room and gone in to investigate and everything seems the same as it was before?

Well, let me tell you my story.  I work for a web company in a large warehouse.  One half of the building is office space with bathroom, kitchen and 6 offices, a dry-room and a shipping room.  The other half of the building is an enormous warehouse with pallets and shelves all the way up to the ceiling which is about 30 ft. tall.  We also have more storage of a different type over the office area in the form of an attic.

I mostly work alone in the morning hours, not seeing my co-workers until afternoon sometime.  I don't mind, it gives me time to surf the web, check in here and on other sites that I like and yes, do some actual work.  I never really get creeped out or anything but occasionally I get the feeling that I am not alone and I find myself talking with the imagined presence.  (Yes I am a little crazy, but who isn't?)

Recently, I started my morning off with the sense that someone was in our building as soon as I unlocked the door.  I checked all of the offices, the dry-room, and the warehouse and found nothing.  I went about my day, feeling the entire time that someone or something was there with me and looked around numerous times for who or whatever it may be.

The day was busy and orders were pouring in, so I made my way to the shipping room to start packing orders.  I am packing fast and furious to get out all of the orders that go by mail so I don't miss the pick-up in a few hours.  As I sit down at the shipping computer to weigh in an order, I see a white flash out of the corner of my eye at about floor level, as if a small dog is running up from behind me.  I turn, and there is nothing there!

I turn back to the computer, and here a whispering noise that I can't quite describe.  I whip back around in my chair and again nothing!  Laughing it off, I went to get the next order.  As I turn to get a box, I see this white thing again but only briefly.  At this point, one of the other employees, Susan, comes through the front door.  Sometimes she brings her dogs with her so I ask if they are here.  They are not, so that leaves out the dog theory.

As I go on packing orders, she informs me that a big shipment of capsules will be in the next day and we need to make room in the dry-room to store them.  She heads in there to start organizing and I head into the big warehouse to get a certain size box for the order I am packing.  As I open the door to the warehouse, I hear a very disctinct sound.  It is the sound of the forklift moving, but there is no one there on the forklift!  I grab Susan out of the powder room and drag her to the warehouse which is only a few steps away, and the sound is gone and the forklift is parked where it always is when not being used.

She looks at me as if I am crazy, and as she turns to go back to her job, the sound of this rolling metal staircase that we use to reach taller shelves (It's about 18 ft. high I would say), squeals as if someone is trying to move it while it is locked down.  Although it is on the opposite side of the 1st row of shelves from us, there is enough space to see parts of the ladder from where we are standing and it hasn't moved.  We walk around to see what is going on, and find, once again, nothing!

"Okay, Ann, shake it off!" I tell myself as I get back to work.  More employess are coming in as are the delivery guys and the rest of the day went by with no new occurences other than the occasional corner of eye sighting of the elusive white thing.

As I was shutting everything down that evening to go home, I mentioned to another co-worker that I kept seeing some white shape out of the corner of my eye all day as if it were a moving object, but it would disappear when I turned and I had no idea what it was.  (We are a health and nutritional company, so I was basically searching for a medical reason that this may be happening).  She asked me if it was only one eye that I saw this thing or had I seen it out of both eyes.  After thinking about it for a while, I realized that it was always off to my left that I saw this thing.  Worried that I had some medical condition that was going to cause me to go blind or something I asked her what she thought it was.

She laughed, reached up behind me and pulled a white packing peanut from the end of my hair on the left side.  "This has been stuck to you all day.  I was going to say something, but I wanted to see how long it would stay there with you running around!"  Gee thanks!!

Well, this doesn't explain my sense of being watched, and the noises in the warehouse, but it absolutely explains my little white friend I kept seeing out of the corner of my eye!  And for the record, I haven't had any of those experiences or sensations since that day!

Excellent story!  You really built up the suspense.  Now we need to know what all those other noises are.

Thanks for writing about your adventure.

LOL.. How mean she didn't tell you about the peanut..

That's just wrong. Now on to the exp. I worked in a warehouse years ago where I would see, feel, and sense things. Not too many others could.. There were literally only a few people that I knew of that saw these things as I did..

I don't know what ever came of it, as I left that horrible job ages ago, but the people who I still talk to that work there, say things are getting weird..

Thanks for posting this, and if you can, maybe you should get a team in there
