Update on Anna...

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts. Anna is out of the hosp! She's very sassy right now because she can't go to school until Mon.! Anna has Brain Stem seizures, she hadn't had one in 3 years. But she's growing, and is very upset she can't walk like all the other kids in school. She's unable to speak clearly, but she makes herself understood! She's been yelling at everyone about the walking. She just can't get up and walk. She'll need therapy, and adaptive equipment, it'll take time. So she stresses herself out, and won't listen to reason, it's hard being 7. She has other Seizures, they increased her medicine for those too. We're out in a liferaft on choppy seas, let me tell you! So now all I have to worry about is my dying 17 1/2 y/o cat Bear. I'm telling you what a week! My best to all of you. spookycat

     I understand her frustration and like you said, being 7 makes it all the harder.  However, it will make her the strongest little girl ever and she sounds pretty tenacious, which will also help.

     Sorry to hear about your cat.  Pets can become like our kids, I know mine gets more and more human everyday. Hang in there and I'll start sending you some positive energy.

I'm glad to hear Anna's home, hope she get's better quickly! You are all in our thoughts and prayers, Bear too. I'm sorry you're having such a hard time  Boy do we know about that! Keep your head up, hopefully things will look up soon! Best wishes, Trish
