I am Just So Darned Smart!

Recently I had the pleasure of working on 5 EVPs for someone.  (I have permission to print this.)  On 2 of the first 4 I worked with, I heard a dog.  I even emailed the person and asked if there was a dog there.  She replied no there was no dog.  I then reversed the dog sounds and on one of the tapes, the sounds were the same.  I was always taught that a spirit animal has the same sound backwards and forwards.  There were no larynx patterns and the 3 woofs on the tape sounded the same forward and backward.  On the next tape, I again heard the dog twice.  It again sounded the same forward and backward.  Ok.  Now I am sure, we have a spirit dog.  I began emailing the videos with an explanation to my client.  Oh, I am so cool to recognize a spirit dog.  I also explained just how cool I was.

Now, I come to the 5th tape and began working on it.  I was informed that the technicians thought it said "What's going on?" and you can hear one of the investigators asking who said "What's going on?"

I at first could not make out the 5th tape because someone spoke over the EVP.  I worked and worked and worked.  It was the voice of a little girl spirit.  Guess what it said?

"La la la.  I was just the dog" in perfect EVP rythm.  I had just been punked by a little spirit kindergartener. 

Someone emailed me and asked if they could pick my brain on EVP.  I don't think there is much to pick up here except maybe just a few crumbs between my ears.  Boy, do I feel stupid.  And, I thought I was so smart.  Nitewing
