People and EVPS

Lately I seem to be asking a lot of questions in my blogs. Apparently I'm very inquizzative lately.

Can particular individuals attract EVPs more than others? Reason I ask that is because lately it seems that every where I go to do an EVP session, I always get at least one.

Sometimes there's a feel to the atmosphere, and at others nothing - like in the case of the last EVP I put up on the forums for opinions. I felt nothing there, but the person who brought me there felt something prior to introducing me to the site.

The last case I did, I got a few EVPS, the few mini investigations I've done I've gotten at least 1-2 each, while others with me with voice recorders did not get anything.

So, with that, is there a reason why spirits/entities/unknown things would communicate via EVP with a particular individual over another?

I know one thing I do prior to going on any investigation is I pray in my car while driving there to make sure that God protects me from any evil I may come across, and to help me stay strong. I also usually wear a cross (but after Ken's recommendation, I'm now going to be wearing a St. Benedict's Cross).

I know usually with me I am sincere, and I can easily see where that would go. Showing them respect is ultimately the biggest thing I'd think.

I know when I got my first EVP, I was flipping out because I have never heard it before, but now I almost wait to hear it because I'm getting them so much these days. In all I have more than 4 from just a small handful of sessions.

But perhaps with Poison's idea about being close to God, may have something onto it.

But let's look at it from this point of view - say Satan knows there are some Godly people in this world who love the paranormal. God did give Satan free reign over the Earth, and some people do believe ghosts/spirits that walk the earth are demons. How do we know that say those who are close to God aren't just picking up demon voices that are trying to persuade the Godly person to think it's something else?

Perhaps I'm thinking too hard. I mean, it is 1:26 a.m.

05/07/2008 20:00:44 I am just learning about this. As many are telling me that they think I am what they call an EVP magnet. I get them as well everywhere I go, I also get many Class A's. Pattyn: I believe People who are close to God, can Get EVPs. Prayer is involved in everything I do : ) I believe My Faith is Strong. Hugs, ParanormalPoison

05/07/2008 18:49:04 The one key element that most people forget about with EVP is sincerity. You see people on TV walking around and daring the spirits to leave them a message. Spirits generally know what we are thinking. If we are sincere, honest and courteous, we generally get a message. When I am in a bad mood, I don't even try because I know I will not get results. I truely believe this is true some just have that becon that will attract them to you. I know no matter where I go I can get an evp easy. my question is if you can get them anywhere can someone that is a little closer to god or such as a person the studies demons why can they not get evps?? I have a member in my group that had studied under keith from Taps I know he is no longer apart of that group, anyway she can not get an evp for the life of her. why it would imprint on my tape and not her's.

I too have heard the evps that one person had posted and could hear them very clearly. so your not crazy love but yes some people are just able to get them better then others.

Naaah, you're not inquisitive, just nosey .

I've wondered about that evp thing too, but in a broader way. It seems that all kinds of psychic phenomena sometimes seems easier to be perceived by some people over others.

I also think that belief has a lot to do with it, too. If for no other reason than that sensitive people who believe in such things tend to be more aware of the phenomena than others.

Also, if you listen to some evps, you might barely be able to make things out, but other will hear things in a much clearer way. Recently someone posted a set of evps at their page here, and I couldn't make out anything, but others who wrote in said they were really good evps and were easily heard. So, go figure . . .
