Was I abducted by Aliens

I know this is out there. And most of will think, I have earned a ticket to the funny farm.

But I have been thinking what if I have been abducted by Aliens, and I don't remember the abduction happening. Here are the reason why I think this abduction could be possible.

1- I suffered from sleep paralysis for over 15 years. Many people who claim to be abducted say they were paralized. When I had sleep paralysis I never had a awake dream or hallucination of little grey man or anything else, That I can remember. But it still seems like a long time to suffer from sleep paralysis.

2-Many people who claim to be abducted say they had a inplant from the Aliens in their bodys. I had a lump in my chest that went away when the sleep paralysis ended. Alien inplant or fatty tissue?

3-What is this fixation I have with Aliens and UFO's. Is this normal?

I was thinking of going for hypnosis to see if I could be regressed to a time when I was abducted. (Like you see on TV) I have two problems with this. One I can't be Hypnotized. I have tried a few times. I tried to quit smoking and loss weight by being Hypnotized. The whole time that I was supposed to be under, I could open my eye's at anytime I want. I didn't feel anything. And I still smoke two packs aday and I am 30 lbs overweight. My second problem with Hypnosis is, is this my memory they uncover or is it the suggestion coming from the person who is Hypnotizing me?

So tell me should I check myself into the mental ward, or keep looking to the skys.

I don't know if your crazy...but I kinda remember reading that sleep paralysis could be the reason some people have seen aliens in there bedroom etc. I've experienced sleep paralysis and never felt I was abducted by aliens but then again I haven't had sleep paralysis for over 20 yrs. So I really don't know, anything is possible. If you do consider hypnosis I would research it more.

Steve, no one would even suggest you going to a funny farm. That is what this forum is for: To vent, ask questions, raise concerns, and learn. You have made some great points. The few stories I have read that is centered around revealing memories, the person wished they hadn't. Think carefully before trying, once you remember it will be hard to forget. Continue to look at the sky and leave it as a mystery. (Just my opinion)

Steve, I don't think you're crazy. I, too, have had sleep paralysis for many years, maybe as many as 20 or more years. I had a lump in my leg that went away a year ago. I've had hallucinations of strange beings for years, but those went away a few years ago. Are we both "Star children" or are we just weird? Maybe a little of both? Whatever it is, I have no worries. It hasn't impacted my life much, and I've gotten to the point where I understand the sleep paralysis and just try to "ride it out".

Good luck to you. Maybe we shall meet someday on an alien space craft... hehe (just kidding)

05/13/2008 18:30:44 Honest opinion. I would still look to the skies. It contains a beautiful pattern of stars that will blow your mind on some nights. As far as looking to the skies for aliens, I would look to the earth for what people call aliens. As far as hypnotic regression. I would stay as far away from that as you can stay away from it. Just my opinion.
