Do you believe in monsters? Someone, somewhere has to have seen one, sometime.

Where else do they come from, the human mind is an amazing thing but is it good enough to create all the weird and wonderful things of

movies, books, art and dreams?

Or do they come from man? Is man the real monster, do monsters have nightmares about men? So many questions, very few answers. Let me tell you a story of a monster in a mans body, lets try to understand, lets kill sometime.

He likes to watch. Who doesn't? He watches people, they become prey, you couldn't even say he enjoyed it but pleasure isn't in his capacity.

Look at them, not exactly a cute couple but their relationship serves them well, gives them pleasure when are people going to learn the real purpose of curtains? It's real easy to see into others lives at night, the light from within shines like a beacon for any who wish to look.

The dinner preparations done, the meal eaten, the hour late, time for sleep.

He knows their patterns, so predictable like most of us. That's what life is, a series of events repeated over and over, possibly he saves them from this tiring routine, moves them on to a better place, or possibly he just ends everything.

Quietly, he enters the house. Up the stairs, avoiding step number four, it creaks. Down the hall, second door to the right.

Sounds of deep breathing, slight snoring, no nightmares in here yet. The weapon tight in his hand, a means to an end.

It doesn't take long, never does. What's the point in drawing the inevitable out? It's just a task, just part of his meaningless, predictable routine. He

waits, one day, for someone to save him from his boring routine.

It's over. Time to move on, wait, creak of step number four. Footstepsfollowing second star to the right coming in to never, never land. Is it his

time? He knows he has his own watcher out there, silently observing him.

Time to meet?

The door, still ajar, silently admits him.

They face each other in the darkness.

Will both live to kill another day?

Who will conquer, the man with the claw or the man in the mask?

1...2...Freddy's coming for you

3...4...Jason's at your door.

I am thinking of starting a free banner exchange for anyone with a paranormal website. If you think this is a good idea then let me know. If there is enough interest I'd start it up.
