Well Tantrickitten, I saw the link to this site through the dibbukbox website and probably would not have signed in had it not been for your posting. So now that I am here - I am open to questions. First lemberger's. The original container did not work and was lost in the war. Hence, the phrase something went terribly wrong. Havela acquired the current Dibbuk Box at some point after she escaped and used it once more in Oregon to fix the earlier problem. So it was a new box, and a new containing spell It was the early 1960's by the time Havela was ready to try to contain the spirit once more. I hope that helps.
Wow, it has been a while since chatting. Sorry for all the problems that came your way. I too was out of comission due to this artifact. As you can see from this image - have resorted to encasing the Dibbuk Box in an Acacia wood Ark, lined in 24 kt. gold. Similar to the Ark of the Convenant. This was recommended by Jewish Kabbalah leaders to minimize the effect. Created this container took almost a year from start to finish in getting the materials and making it correctly. It has helped a good bit. The Dibbuk Box is stored in the museum collection area and pretty much left alone for 6 months or more at a time.
It is real. I communicated with the current owner for a while until a family crisis took me offline for more than six months and I was embarrassed to send him an email again. Actually... since he and I were talking and did a little thing with the box to prove his ownership of it... it may have gotten me in a very minor way. The stories about it are true... he gave me some fairly extensive information about it that is not on the website about the box that does verify much of it's history while we were communicating.
That's really interesting. I'd like to know, if the woman ended up in a concentration camp and her family was killed, then how did she get the box back?
I am thinking of starting a free banner exchange for anyone with a paranormal website. If you think this is a good idea then let me know. If there is enough interest I'd start it up.
