Touchie subject, but we are strong enough for it
by glider

This is what I think. Let me know your opinion.

I have never seen a UFO, or Alien from another world, that I know of. But I think they are for real. When I look to the sky and see all the stars, knowing they are Sun's, and planets orbit the Sun's. I know we are not alone.

But if there are Aliens from other worlds, who is their creator. My personal belief  is God is the creator of things on Earth and any other planet.

God bless you Steve,

I agree with you that God is the creator of all things both here on earth and anywhere else.  As to what exactly is out there, is up for debate and for the most part I would agree with what Ken already posted.

Regarding the idea that evolution is contrary to the Bible --- I would suggest that this is not the case.  Science attempts to explain the mechanics of the Universe.  It does not pretend to explain "why" the Universe was created.  Conversely, the Bible (and any other creation story of any culture) does not attempt to explain "how" things were created, in scientific terms.  It only attempts to explain "why".  So science and theolgoy, while separate disciplines, are not necessarily mutually exclusive ; they just deal in different questions.

I think of Independance day", which was on SATT TV Last night.
Those people on the roof top "come and take me away"
Well they did.
For the most part UFO encounters have been "Negative", I am not expecting any "positive" to come from an encounter.

There also seems to be strong indications these beings are:

Metaphysical by nature.
Interdimensional travelers, not 'interstellar'.
Are not what they seem.

Odd that the Vatican will participate in a celebration of Humanist "Darwin",
(No wonder why I lean to the pre-vatican II era)
I find Darwinism is blind faith, not to mention how old that theory is
and
nothing new came to prove it is true (proof of one species actually
evolving into another). We find it is more a blind faith for Atheist
and Humanist. And we find fraud in those whom tried to find mans
so-called "missing link". So we can't even trust any information or
conclusion they derive - ethics?
As one stated "Clearly Darwinism requires a larger leap of "faith" than one belief system for "Creationist".
Anyone remember back not long ago they acted like the Bible was Mythology?

Now
after so much archaeological proof of many biblical accounts, it is
considered by scientist in the least a history document. (Exception, they tend to give credo to natural disasters say the demise of "Sodom and Gomorrah.)

I also remember when the believed Neanderthal man was part of an evolutionary stage for modern man.

Bottom
line we have to pay attention to the source, the information is often
bias or skewed to that belief system of "humanism" as they tried to
hard to find mans origins without the belief in a supreme being.
Even the UFO people want so bad to believe in life in outer space that it in itself becomes a new religion (Beyond "New Age"). And they too might ignore facts about these beings that are obvious to some of us, yet since they don't fit the idea of a "Friendly extra-terrestrial lifeforms", the evidence might be ignored.

I haven't seen a UFO or alien either but to borrow a quote from the movie Contact.

"So if it’s just us, seems like an awful waste of space."

The Vatican released in May that "Alien life may exists, and it's not against GOD to crete other species outside of our solar system."

If the Catholic church can believe that there is a possibility, then mayhap there is.

Vatican says aliens could exist

Father Funes says the universe is so vast that other life forms may exist

The Pope's chief astronomer says that life on Mars cannot be ruled out.

Writing in the Vatican newspaper, the astronomer, Father Gabriel Funes, said intelligent beings created by God could exist in outer space.

Father Funes, director of the Vatican Observatory near Rome, is a respected scientist who collaborates with universities around the world.

The search for forms of extraterrestrial life, he says, does not contradict belief in God.

The official Vatican newspaper headlines his article 'Aliens Are My Brother'.

'Free from sin'

Just as there are multiple forms of life on earth, so there could exist intelligent beings in outer space created by God. And some aliens could even be free from original sin, he speculates.

Asked about the Catholic Church's condemnation four centuries ago of the Italian astronomer and physicist, Galileo, Father Funes diplomatically says mistakes were made, but it is time to turn the page and look towards the future.

Science and religion need each other, and many astronomers believe in God, he assures readers.

To strengthen its scientific credentials, the Vatican is organising a conference next year to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the author of the Origin of Species, Charles Darwin.

Well, you could say He just kept trying and trying till he came up with what he felt was good, but then to say that is to say God is fallible and heaven forbid we say that. LOL

Remember learning that people were terrified about falling off the world because it was flat?  Well, it took Columbus to prove that one wasn't right.  It seems, as a society, we need to make up answers for the things we don't know.

In my rambling I forgot to state that I also believe in all the unknown space far beyond what we can see it would be a very vain assumption to think we are the only life.
