Psychic Kids

I saw this show for the 1st time last night. I for one liked the show. Many people have a true gift and some don't. its something that helps bring validation to those confused or afraid to speak out about what they are experiencing. I know that when you see things like this on TV anything is possible or can be faked. However it opens the doors for people to not be afraid to talk. What is your take on the show?

I do agree that it does seem exploitive of the parents to put the kids on tv that way. 


 From experience I can tell you that the other kids will have already picked up on the fact that these kids are 'different' and will have singled them out.  I doubt being on TV will make it that much worse for them.

I agree with Portal in Time, I got the feeling that the kids were being exploited, all for 15 minutes of fame and the almighty dollar.  I would have been more impressed if they would have done more of a one time documentary about the place that psychic children and their parents can go for support and resources so both the kids and the parents could understand what was going on instead of a weekly show telling who the kids are so they can be ridiculed even more--kids are horribly cruel and I don't think it will be good for the psychic kids when they go back to their normal enviroment.


Just my thoughts!

I liked it however when you are sensitive I've noticed that sometimes you don't have to be in a haunted location to find a spirit. Sometimes them come looking for you.

I saw only the first 15 min of the First show last week and wasn't happy with it...It feels like the children are being 'exploited' somewhat..

     Here, here shadowslair.  I felt the same way.  You keep them in hiding and now you're gonna plaster their faces up on national TV.....hmmmmm I smell 15 minutes of fame at your kids expense.


      The other thing I don't get is why put the kids in a haunted location.  Aren't they scared enough?

I for one liked this show a lot more than I thought I would.  I'm not a big fan of all the 'drama' they put into shows like this but having been one of these kids I was very happy to see the information they had get validated. 


 When you are a kid, it is always nice to know that you aren't alone.
