I want to give a quick update about my beliefs concerning ghosts, spirits, and the divine.   first of all, I believe that spirits are energy based, as I may have said in a previous blog.  also, I believe that there may be some spirits who have never been to the spirit world, but that a ghost is not necessarily a spirit that has never been there, and I believe that the spirit world is neither good nor bad, but is just a continuation of life without a body.  also, I have decided to continue to embrace spiritualism as my religious path, which does allow for freedom of individual belief.  as for the divine, I believe in a Creator who is the reason for the existence of life, but who did not create every animal as it is now, but rather let evolution develop animal and plant life over time.  I believe that life cannot be an accident, and that a molecule that can replicate itself could not have developed by chance, a point that I had my attention drawn to by a website about deism I went to recently.  I believe that this creator does occasionally answer prayers, but that he is not involved in every little detail of human affairs.  anyway, that is an update on my beliefs at this point.
