St. Augustine Lighthouse

I recently spent some time in Florida, and so paid a visit to the haunted St. Augustine Lighthouse.  As some intriguing video was shot in the tower itself by TAPS of SciFi's Ghost Hunters, I felt the need to climb the tower myself.  My goal was to spend a short time up there making audio recordings.  I am really coming to enjoy haunted lighthouses.


Upon climbing fourteen stories, I was winded.  Whew!  I now know why Brian (Wheezy) was grousing about having to go up and down the tower several times on the first episode the show Ghost Hunters shot at St. Augustine.   Utilizing the spirit box, I was able to record for a little over eight minutes, and collected about 15 messages.  Some of the messages pointed to adult spirits, as well as children coming through.  Most intriguing to me were phrases recorded of spirits discussing "me."  I hope to post some of the recordings in the next week or so. 


Faith Albers, the Special Projects Manager, told me the entire property is active with adult and adolescent ghosts making their presence known.  She is a wonderful person and has had many experiences on the grounds.  On a side note, if any of you make it to the haunted lighthouse, be sure and visit the nearby park.  Faith says it is haunted, as well.

ScariMari, I have recorded several messages where I have heard spirits discussing me.  It's very interesting, indeed.  Many are aware and conscious, in my opinion.  They can hear, thus learn and be set free.

I am very much interested in listening to the results!  Especially interesting is that you said the comments seemed to pertain specifically to you.  That would seem to mean that the spirits are aware and conscious.  Looking forward to hearing your results!!
