Here in Toronto, there has been a record amount of rain 220mm, that's double the amount it was last year, 127mm! It's soggy, wet and somewhat uncomfortable. But, I know that some ghost hunters believe there is a corrolation between rain, lightining and ghost sightings. I still don't really understand this. Maybe someone could assist me.
My personal opinion is that the raw energy discharged by lightning strikes and the resulting ozone produced provides ideal conditions for manifestations
It is not so much rain as it is thunder storms I think. During a thunder storm conditions that allow for the manifestation of a ghost are supposed to be intensified allowing more paranormal activity to take place. Whether or not it is true is yet to be determined.
