Crazy video

Hey everyone,

I found this video and don't really know what I think about it. There are a few things that strike me as really odd about it: 1) Radio interference happens in movies, but has not been heavily reported in real life; 2) The white dog yawns while watching the "entity" - is this because it is afraid, or is it showing submission to its owner and hoping to get the ham sandwich he is waving around behind the camera? 3) The house is noticably clean except for the roll of papertowels that are an obvious part of the haunting; 4) Why is this reported on a realtivley random site and not on a local or national news broadcast?
On the otherhand, this is some pretty freaky footage and I was kind of spooked by watching it. I can't imagine catching that kind of evidence in my own house!
I want to know what all of you think. Is it real, is it a complete fake? Let me know your thoughts!

I have to echo Alan about dogs and the paranormal.  My dog and cat are cool with the people in my house (my and hubby's deceased fathers and other relatives and guides).  They don't like when they suddenly pop in and get a little snarky about it but they're fine with them.  My dog is NOT cool with ghosts.  My MIL has something in her basement (I don't know what it is... I couldn't bring myself to go in the room with it but it used to scare the snot out of me... this was before I became an investigator) and my dog, all 14 pounds of him, will NOT let me go in the basement by myself (he will let other people go down there but I'm his person) and then proceeds to bury his head on my shoulder and cry until we leave.  Once I approached the door of the room in question and he clawed the heck out of me trying to climb over my shoulder and away from it in sheer terror.  Those dogs wouldn't be in that room, let alone wagging their tails and smiling.  Their hackles would be up and they'd be keening and would shoot out of there so fast they'd leave skid marks.  I didn't even really think of that until Alan brought it up... but I've seen it over and over in the pets that our clients have.  They absolutely refuse to be in the room with the activity unless the owner is there and then only to protect the owner from whatever it is.

I also can't believe no one can see the person under the white thing in the closet.  I do agree that the door COULD do that in a legitimate haunting but there wouldn't be someone white and shaky during poltergeist activity.  I CAN see how you wouldn't really notice where the sofa is... I looked very carefully and I have a better-than-average spatial sense.

Well...weird stuff goes on in my basement.  I have a pitbull that isn't afraid of anything and she was by the door howling like someone was trying to kill her.  She would not go back down there by herself for a very long time.

I've seen my dog stand off dogs 4 times her size.  There isn't a person alive she'd run from yet something in the basement affected her to that extent.

I don't agree that those dogs were nervous or scared.  They seemed pretty calm to me.

I don't remember seeing the dogs when that door thing was happening.  If you come to my house and do that with the door handle my dog would be right there waiting for someone to enter the house.  When the door opened she would have been right inside the closet.

I guess if people are not highly suspect of such a video, I can understand why Paranormal State made it two years.

REPOST: Sorry about the first one.  I didn't even think about red being so hard to see on grey.

I'm not sure if it's a hoax, or not.  The door thing looked real, but the paper towel thing looked rigged.  So, I don't know.  But as for the dogs, my dad has breed different types of dogs my whole life, so I'm pretty in tune with their body language.  Their owner obviously wasn't in the room, because while they don't seem scared, they seem timid.  So either someone was in the room with them that they had never met before and were unsure of, or they were watching some type of entity.

you know, its hard to say, some people are going to say its fake and others real....unless its happening to you. you never can tell.

To me, this video looks to be authentic; although you cannot label it as such because it was not recorded under controlled, documented circumstances.

The dogs did not look like they were looking at someone they knew; they were curious and nervous.  The closet door and paper towel was very interesting!

My gut feeling, authentic!  Ali

Im gonna say hoax on this one as well. The dogs kept following something off camera, and at one part almost seemed shooed back INTO the video line. I also agree there was no fear in the dogs at all, seemed almost more like excitement, like being played with (think anticipation to "stay...stay....stay......go get it boy!")

I alos think the movement of the paper towels was too whoosh....like a quick pull from a fishing type line. And the door movements as well, jsut way to jerky...unless that door needs some major WD40, it would be much more fluid.....

Well I watched this video a few more times, and I still don't see what you are all saying. You all must have much better eyes then I do. Oh, and I always leave the TV on for Otis when we leave him alone, so I don't think that part is strange either. Vicky

There are still issues with the inboxes. I'll get on it tomorrow and see if I can't figure out what the problem is. I apologize for any unusual things that may occur during this time. Maybe we really are haunted!?
