I've been so busy, I haven't had time to write the blogs I've been thinking about. Decided to do it now, while I have a screaming migraine. (I am She-rah) Anyways, while in Minnesota, I made my biomom watch GHI with me. She pretty much stared at me the whole time while I was making snide comments to the screen. Telling her about how that's not what we really do, theories of the paranormal and all that stuff. Yeah, she thinks I'm nuts, but that'a a whole different story.
At a commercial, I asked her what she thought of all the stuff they were getting. (I can't even remember the episode at this point, these days, I'm lucky I can remember my own fricken name) She said that it was hard to believe what they got, because they went in knowing what happened previously, and where it all was.
Maybe we are doing it wrong. Instead of asking where it all is and what the history is, we need to go in cold. Have someone on the team do all the intake stuff. What, where, when, how, and who of the place. They, inturn, make the decision of whether or not the team goes to the house. The intake person, I would think, would not even go on the investigation, for fear of letting something slip or unconciously guiding others to a certain spot.
Then after the investigation, see if any evidence correlates with what the intake person has found out. Is that feasible? Is it possible to take out as much human psyche as you can? Or do people just not care that much to go through setting up a way to get a more credible outcome?
