I was wonderig if any of you guys share info about certain areas. Alot of times you get different groups going over the same places and besides sites like this do any of you cross reference your findings or share info or is it too competative to do so. I feel that as a community we should bond rather than compete we're for the most part out looking for the same answers. I mean yah we throw our photos up there for people to look at or a few evps but do any of you get together on big cases or say hey I just did that place lets compare notes when your done. this may seem like a petty subject but there might be a person who has the answer that has another group in a stalemate. It could be the name of a person, place, or thing that has a person hung up before they can reveal the evidence. What do you think about this or is this a practice either already in use or frowned upon.
I like the fact that people do share and dont compete with things.Maybe its jus the tv like I heard in a previous comment. It takes different points of view to make a definitive descision on things and am glad nobodygoes with the mine mine approach. it shows how mature you all are as investigators.
:: sorry had to rewrite it, forgot that red doesn't show up well on the new backing::
I personally believe it's imparitive to share with other teams, period. There is NO ROOM for segregating yourself and having the attitude that any certain location you and your team holds rights to.
We have networked and compared cases with quite a few teams, in in that sharing we have found that an EVP caught in the underground seattle by one team is the same EVP we caught in the same location two years later.
Different teams bring different energies. Different energies meet, greet and mingle with different spirits. We need to share, not be territorial.
Im with Regan on this. Sharing case studies is imparitive to do in the paranormal. Plus no group should have the rights to any place or paranormal activity. A group should even say to the client after they perform an investigation themselves that they should contact such and such group in the area for another investigation. This gives the clients diversity in the out come of the final analysis of thier paranormal problems. Plus the groups who did the investigations could get together compare data and help the client in more of a benificial way to the client rather than one group coming in doing an investigation and thats the bottom line of the investigation and if their is paranormal activity or not in the clients residence.
Groups working together is the way it always used to be. The major competition did not start until the whole TV craze. Then everyone got goofy and territorial trying to get the next big gig.
I have a bunch of groups that have been working on my building and so far, that is one thing that I have asked all my groups to do, it work together with the other groups that are involved. So far they all seem to be doing that. I think it helps out a lot. I think it's wonderful that my groups are all willing to help each other out. Everyone needs to do more of this. Vicky

I do believe teams and indivduals should work together. We'd get farther faster.
There are still issues with the inboxes. I'll get on it tomorrow and see if I can't figure out what the problem is. I apologize for any unusual things that may occur during this time. Maybe we really are haunted!?
