Detox The Physical, Help The Spiritual

Steps already taken on my spiritual path...

I have managed to get off all medications (prescription and over-the-counter).  I use to be on one high blood pressure pill, three allergy pills, two emergency inhalers, one nasel steroid, pain pills for my back and an anti-depressant.  Under the care of the doctor that put me on those pills and with the care and treatment of my accupuncturest, I am off of everything and feeling better than ever!

I have no allergy problems and haven't had since November 2007.  I almost have no back problems.  I've gone from once a month with severe pain to once in six months of severe pain.  I have no depression issues and feel happier than ever.

I'm eating more natural foods and fewer preservatives.  I've cut way down on processed sugars - not completely or even far enough though and I'm still attached to my diet caffine free Dr. Peppers.  I expect to give them up by the end of the year - baby steps.

Detoxing the physical self is one path that I see needs to happen in order to clear the path for the spiritual self.  Why?  Because, I feel that adding the toxic crap into our physical selves clouds our perseption and our abiltiy to think with total clarity.

If only it were that easy to clear out the enviromental toxins, life would be super easy.

Baby steps...

I am happy for you I also have severe back problems and have had two operations and am waiting on a third. A friend of my wifes got her drinking the Yogi brand detox tea. I mean this stuff tastes great and it'll make you sweat all the toxins out. try it out but I warn you its potent two tea bags in one cup is the most Id recommend.

Congrats!  I have been trying to eat only healthy, fresh foods with no preservatives (and it is extremely hard to do that).  I too am a sugar junkie, and although fruit somewhat satisfies, it is no replacement for chocolate!!  I am glad you are reaping the benefits of your lifestyle change!

There are still issues with the inboxes. I'll get on it tomorrow and see if I can't figure out what the problem is. I apologize for any unusual things that may occur during this time. Maybe we really are haunted!?
