Types of spirits: Don't overcomplicate

A Note Ghostbusters/Deliverance teams:

We should all forget trying to �Label� spirits with other �titles� based on their behavior, varied appearances, and so forth. For too long it has be over complicated.

We should be concerned with ONLY two categories, properly pairing them to identify the type of spirit:

Category One:

Good / Evil

Category Two:

Human / Inhuman

Don�t concern yourselves with the heritage, age or gender of the spirit. Or labeling a shadowy being �Hatman� for example, just because it looks like it has a "hat".

Ask yourself what type of spirit does it fall under? While using the above "types".
That is how we derive the proper solution.
So don�t try to over analize with an array of spirit types, it is unnecessarily to over complicate these things like this.

Ken,

I couldn't agree more! While I'm not Catholic, I was recently witness to a discussion between my wife (somewhat sensitive) and a Native American shaman. They spent so much time monolpoizing the conversation as to what it was and what it looked like, I just got up and told them both "You're wasting each other's time."

There ARE only two questions: Is it good or evil?; and Is it human or preternatural? All other discussion is simply distracting. Good show Ken!

So in short, this helps in narrowing it down
to basic types is all we need to provide a solution. Additional
information can play part, but the basic approach, the foundation of the way to solve it, is
the essentially the same. And a good starting point.

Also, I consider there are no shades of gray in deliverance, You are either destined to be in the company of God (Good) or Satan's (Evil) league after passing.
I define as "Evil", being a "Lost soul" or "Condemned soul", being as in the company of the demoinic I define as Type "Evil", even if it isn't so much indicating such a nature. It's current mood is irrelevant. The fact is in the demonic realm as a human spirit you might be forced to do evil upon others against your wishes. Also, a condemn soul does not have free-will, it is now a puppet to teh demonic realm. Sad but true.

I do think that there's some overcomplication going on because we really
don't understand the nature of ANY of them yet... so we should be
studying very simple, basic things at this point rather than arguing
over whether this dark entity's name is Greg or Zornak and whether or
not it likes to scare people and then try to corrupt them or the other
way around. I don't agree with two categories, however. I think
that's oversimplification.

Those
elements I mention are really all we need to solve the haunting as far
as defining a "Type" goes. Remember we are talking about "Ghost
busting" here, not "ghost hunting".
Now it should go without saying, if you determine it is a good human ghost for example, then who it is, can, at times, play a part in removing the spirit. But it doesn't define the spirit as another type simple because his name was Glenn, or he seems to be earth bound in part because he seems unable to dettach himself from his wordly goods.
But why he is here or that his name is Glenn doesn't change the actual Basic type of spirit he is.
Remember to simplify it as i mention is a note to Ghostbusters/Deliverance teams.
That in order to provide an effective soltion, there really needs to be understood only these basic types. Which does define the very nature of the spirit as well as a solution to removing it.
Now we do have types of demons for example. But it is still under the type of EVIL-INHUMAN.
