I have wav. files and maybe some MP3 files, I'm not really sure. The kind you get from EVP's when you use those little hand recorders from the ghost hunts. Does anyone here know how I can convert them to load them onto You Tube? I'm using windows vista just so you know. If anyone knows, please let me know, or if you would be willing to do them for me, please let me know. Thanks so much. Vicky
I've been wondering that one myself. The only thing I could come up with was to actually video tape my computer while the file was playing just to capture the audio in a video format, then upload it that way. This is far too complicated for me so I think I will just continue what I do now, which is post it on our website or have links from other pages of interest like IAH or Facebook.
Vicki, from my understanding, youtube will load only videos. I use Putfile for audio only but I really don't care for Putfile. Audacity will allow you to convert from .wav to MP3 and vice-vera but that still won't get you a video.
Vicky, do they have to be in a certain format? I have Vista too, and it's not compatible with any of my WMA recordings so I had to convert them all before I could do anything with them. If all you have to do is convert it to something else, just type for example "convert WMAs into MP3s" in any search engine. There's a free program I got online that does just that called Switch Sound File Converter.
There are still issues with the inboxes. I'll get on it tomorrow and see if I can't figure out what the problem is. I apologize for any unusual things that may occur during this time. Maybe we really are haunted!?
