Odd Symbol seen while medatating

I had learned a medatative rest that has been helpful for me . I am in pain almost continouly. I even dream about being in pain, so I am never free from it. While in a higher state of thought during medatating, I saw a single symbol. It looked as if it could belong to some old writing that may no longer be in common use. * I made a picture of it in my gallery on here, ( rather it has been ok'ed yet , as I just loaded it before writing this. ) You can notice which one it is by looking for a black picture that has a white single 'cheriter drawn on it . It kind of looks like a letter "m" with a loop over it. If any one has ever seen such a thing any where, please write to me and tell me what it is . The view of what I saw in a 'vision' like effect was as if I saw a neon sign made up in the shape of this image against a black background. There was nothing else, and no sound. I sw it for about 30 seconds, and it faded away . I grabed a piece of paper and a pen and drew it. Later I made the copy on the computer with MSpaint. So any help ?

If the link works ( lol ) I found an "om " to show every one . I am totally amazed that this may be the very thing that it is !!!!! The reason I am saying this , is I had been looking at one of these symbols a few months before. But not on it's side . I am starting to wonder if getting it shown to me laying on it's side has some meaning from , God, ( let's say ) that may be that corse or religious study is "not" for me. ... LOL In the vision it was shining very bright against a black background. But I did not see the extra piece that is drawn to the top.

Wow ! I had not thought of that ! Thanks for the tip ! It was so strange, that I would even be 'given' such a single symbol in the first place. My current theory is something is messing with me that has a cruel sence of humor. That idea is baised on my work with helping to remove malevalant beings from other people and places. So may be the motive is revenge, along with other things that goes on around me ...
