Contact from Beyond

Today, I had a wonderful surprise. I won a trip to Las Vegas. But, that wasn't the biggest surprise. When I got to my home, I turned on my cell phone, and the first thing I see was "Omi" (my mom's contact name on my phone. )The date: today, the Time: The exact time I turned on the phone. First, it shocked me, then I decided to call the number back. I got nothing. It dialed out, after 5 seconds it disconnected. No "I'm sorry but the number you dialed cannot be reached". Or "The number you dialed is in no longer in service." Just NOTHING... Dead air. The phone service has been turned off since my mom's death in April.

I'm wondering if it was my mom contacting me to congratulate me on my win. What do you think?

Yup, I think she wanted you to know that she's around and she knows what's happening in your life.  How lucky are you--two wins!!

Sounds like your mom had something to say. I had a phone (a reg home phone) that rang in the middle of the night twice and it was unplugged and I hadnt had my service turned on yet. Spooky Depending on your cell phone company, you could get online and check all your incoming calls. That would be interesting. Have a great night, Trish
