Good points Nite. I'm no demolitions expert, but there is more than just the collapse of the towers that lead the official story to be questioned, such as the fact that BBC reported WTC7 falling almost an hour before it collapsed. Sounds like a planted story to me and someone got their time zones mixed up. Then there are the stand down orders for the FBI NOT to arrest Bin Laden while they had the chance. Then there's the pilots who came forward and claimed to have shot down Flight 93. And I find it hard to believe that anyone can buy the story that they reached the Pentagon after the country had already gone into alert? There's so much that doesn't add up.

This is a reply about the thermite comment you left on my page.  I will respond openly.  Thermite is made of aluminum powder.  It is enhanced by sulphur.  Sulpher (kerosene) is used in jet fuel.  Airplanes are made of aluminum.  If you added aluminum POWDER to your charcoal grill, the thermite would burn a hole in your bar-b-que.  Charcoal fluid can be used to ignite thermite.  I have used thermite and burned holes in steel barrells, cars, and even cut steel rods.  If an airplane, loaded with kerosene, crashed into a building, there would be aluminum powder enhanced by sulphur.  The resulting thermite would cause the additional fuel to burn hotter and melt steel beams. No self-respecting demonlitionist would use thermite to cut steel beams.  They would use det. cord and other explosive devices for a more precise cut.  Using thermite is too iffy because it is not stationary enough to stay in place during explosions.  ^v^

As a retired bomb technician, I have found nothing to indicate that the  Towers were brought down by internal explosions.  I too have watched the films.  To understand building implosions, you must first understand the properties of the different types of explosives.  Then you must understand how they affect structural integrity in buildings.  I admit the films are impressive but the pressure blowing out the windows when it was collapsing is consistent with levels falling upon levels.  Explosives would have produced slightly different films.  Implosions depend on blowing out lower structure supports so that the upper levels, also losing structure because of explosives, fall inward and their weight to bring the buidling down on itself.  Not to destroy the substructures would leave dangerous areas for manual demolition.  When the second tower came down, we all remember the standing walls sticking out like monuments to the dead.  That is the result of "improper" implosion techniques.  While many may still stay that manually implanted explosives were in the building, to achieve the upper level effect would require explosives to be place inside pillars.  That is the technique necessary to rupture the integrity of the columns.  Simply placing explosives around pillars would have very little effect.  Think of placing a firecracker in your open hand.  When it goes off, you might get a little burn but your would not be injured.  Once you close your hand around the firecracker, the force of the blast is intensified andd something must move and that is generally fingers being blown off.  The same is true with implanted implosion devices.  They are "generally" placed in drilled holes in the columns.  Otherwise, their blast radiates in a 180 degree area which would cause little damage.  No.  Sorry, the Towers were brought down by heat causing the internal beams to colapse on each other until their combined weight made it impossible for their integrity to hold.  But, it is a fun conspiracy for many. ^v^

Hey Jane..thanks for the comment. I not only find it odd...I find it criminal. Archetects and engineers for 911 have pretty much proven explosionsin the buildings....squibs and all. No object falls at freefall speed unless you eliminate the resistance under it....thus....DEMOLITION. Question is...WHO?

THis is the oldest trick in the book with governing bodies. Create a problem that creates fear....peple want a solution.....they submit. It has happened since NERO 2000 years ago. Ultimate power corrupts..absolutely. Even NYC can't change the laws of physics.

THERES A FILM I THINK ON U TUBE THAT I SAW A ABOUT 2 YRS AGO SHOWING THE WTC  IN SLOW MOTION AS THE BOMBS WENT OFF ON DIFFERENT LEVELS OF THE BUILDING, A COUPLE OF SECONES BEFORE THE SECOND PLANE HIT.I BELIEVE THERE WAS A BIG COVER UP & OUR GOVT KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN.WHY WOULD THE PRESIDENT REMOVE BIN LADENS FAMILY THE SAME DAY AS THE WTC COLLAPSE.I ALWAYS FOUND IT ODD
