I don't know the design of the light you are refering to, but this one hav a huge reflector behind it, and I've made some other changes to the light besides the LED's (changed the current limiting resistors to maximize brightness with out shortening their life and I use the 840 nm LED's) the 940/950 nm don't work as well.

Its only 6 led IR lights...  it cant make that much of a difference...  even the 48 led boxes ive seen dont seem to help to much...  is there something special about these?  Please let us know.
