Yeah he does look like a Coyote with the mange...poor thing.  If it's not been photoshopped he could have a congenital defect.  Unfortunately this is becoming more common with wild animals.  Coyotes are coming into urban areas also thanks to a**hole developers running them out of their homes.

Maybe a really good photoshoped photo? Never knew. Never heard of anything being seen in the Milwaukee area like that that I know of - and I live in Milwaukee.

On the site where i found it they thought it may be a coyote with mange, yet another comment stated that it was too large.. I agree that it looks like a hiena's head, with a wolfs body.. not sure. I too feel so sorry for the darn thing.  (even though it kinda gives me the creeps).  If I find more about it I will keep you updated.  The area where it was photographed has no wolf population, but a coyote would not be unusual.
