My name is Cheri Farnsworth, formerly Cheri Revai but more often called "the ghost lady" or "that ghost author," at least up in my neck of the woods. I have written a number of books about ghosts and the paranormal that are available through the publishers (Stackpole Books and North Country Books) and online at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com under 'Cheri Revai'.
I hold an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science, so of course I've been a secretary for, well...forever. But more importantly, I'm a mother to four beautiful daughters, and I just recently remarried. We've bought our dream home, a magnificent, history-laden, hundred-year-old American four-square; and, besides the kids and their friends coming and going at any given hour, we also have three lazy cats and one crazy German Shepherd. You could call it Grand Central Station in smalltown, USA. And that's about all that I'm willing to share about my private life for now...
Currently, I'm under contract with Stackpole to write "The Big Book of New York State Ghost Stories," a large, (ambitious) hardcover with 130 true, current ghost stories from establishments and private residences around the state. So if you know of a haunted place I haven't written about previously that you'd like me to consider including in "Big Book NY," (my editor's abbreviated name for it), please drop me a note.
