"Christians" Bashing Catholics + some Catholic Deliverance Differences

Fundementalist Christians vs. Catholics/Orthodox

Can Christians Unite?

(Warning: This may offend some people, my goal is to NOT dumb down the facts simply to be "Politically Correct"! )

If you surf around the web you find some ignorance that is very offensive about the Catholic/Orthodox faith.

This same ignorance separates these two Christian denominations when it comes to methods of "Deliverance/Exorcisms" and "Demonology".

Over at: demonbuster.com

where we read:

Quote:
Witchcraft in the Church

The practice of witchcraft in the Catholic Church is in all their ceremonies. The mind is purchased or you might say controlled by the water baptism being poured across the forehead. A Catholic helps curse himself or herself every time he or she makes an upside down cross in crossing himself. Catholics participate in a lie in transubstantiation in communion (Cannibalism). Cursing of themselves occurs through the "sick call sets", consisting of a crucifix, two candles, and holy water. Worshiping saints (praying to the dead) is scripturally forbidden (Deuteronomy 18:11). Calling a man Father (Master) is also forbidden in Matthew 23:9. The Catholic Church is really an endless string of damnable practices all done in the name of Jesus Christ. (II Corinthians 11:13-15).

This is from the site that’s says Paisley prints are from the Devil. However this notion is shared by MANY of the types of so-called Christians. Absurd!

Even ’Pagans’ disagree with such statements as this on Demonbuster.com:

Quote:
"Roman Catholic Church: Many witches have sought out the Roman priesthood as part of their magical development. Totally Pagan magical religions like Voodoo, Macumba and Santeria can effortlessly blend African gods and goddesses like Erzulie within Catholic devotions to Mary."- Demonbuster.com

on that text Kerr Cuhulain (Witchvox.com) comments:

Quote:
It was Bill Schnoebelen who sought out the Catholic priesthood as part of his "development." You can see how this has now been turned into an assumption that all Witches engage in this practice, which is not true.

I see true ignorance from these other denominations. I had seen in with former team members whom I have worked with.

A prejudice, as usual based on "Ignorance".

Reverse engineering the bible, and re-translating it creates another interpretation of scripture. Realize the bible is an incomplete book, as some said over 5000 scrolls were lost in a fire under Emperor Nero. That is 5000 less scrolls that would outline the faith better in one book! So that old notion "That’s not in the bible" doesn’t apply especially when it was from a bad translation or a bible altered in anyways from the original Greek text.

Now I will try to outline the differences between Catholic methods and (some) Protestant:

Since this still is a problem I am thinking I may Talk about it in the book,
is the way some denominations are so "Anti-Catholic" still even today. I feel much of it is pure ignorance. The main issues I will go over that applies to "Deliverance" are in these of Catholic/Orthodox faith:

1. Intercession of Mary and the Saints. The difference between
"Honor and Venerate" (as we do Mary and the Saints, and "Worship
and Adore" as we Do Jesus. Don’t judge all because some tend to take it too far!

2. Crucifixes - versus Crosses.

Many fundamentalist fear this may be what was referred to as a "graven
image", Jesus on the cross on a necklace, rosary, crucifix on the wall. The Demonic
will recoil at a site of a crucifix, a plain blank cross. Most often no reaction.
It varies if it was blessed or often carried on often oneself especially when
prayers are said. (Although one may find confidence and faith in ant object of sentiment, the object itself is nothing of power against the demon as the crucifix is.
However the image alone of the crucified savior repels demons, even the
higher ranks demons which may endure the metaphysical pain it causes, still
will have a threshold of weakness where they can not stay exposed full front,
in proximity of it for long. Learn from other who have experience this fact
first hand!

3. Holy Water – blessed objects.

Universally speaking, praying over object can energize them with positive
energy of Jesus/God. A blessing is directing this energy (graces) to that
object, place or person. Water is a pure element and in itself already positive
force against evil spirits. Blessed it is charged with even more power. A priest upon ordination is given a special gift in "blessing". So the significance of a Priest’s blessing rather than laity.

4. Baptism - infant Baptism is important enough for it to be a key question
when we ask about a child whom may be affected by negative spirits.
Beyond a mere, anointing, christening, or blessing a Catholic Baptism for
example has a "minor exorcism" built in to break any possible attachments.

Talk about giving a kid a fresh start on life!

5. The Rosary – Hail Mary

I have often Said in itself, the Rosary is a one prayer fits all. Which means
daily rosary can keep one on the right path in life (f said right) to where our
true needs will be met alone. This includes protection from evil spirits.
The Hail Mary is made up of Quote from Scripture primary.

"Hail Mary Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee"

Said by the Angel Gabriel. Blessed are though among woman and Blessed is the fruit of Thy Womb Jesus" Said by Elizabeth when Mary
visited her to find she was expecting a baby (John the Baptist).

"Holy Mary Mother of God, Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our
death amen"

Vaguely remember reading this was said before Mary’s Assumption by one of the Apostles. The last line is key. The last battle we wage in life is mono-e-mono with
demonic entities, who take one last chance at steering or hearts away from God.
Some NDE’s has said Mother Mary appears and her bright light run off these ravaging
wolves from the persons bedside. Mary is also considered the one to take place where Lucifer one sat, as the highest angel in heaven.
In the prophesy and the old greek text it states (Genesis) "She shall Crush they head and
he (Satan) Shall Lie in wait from HER heal". This is why you see Mary standing
on the head of a serpent on some statues. Satan brought the fall of man through a Woman so through A Woman will god bring the fall of Satan.

As I mention Crucifixes recoil demons, pictures that are divinely inspired work
as the Immaculate heart image, also are both an object of hatred and fear for the
demonic. Interestingly, this has revealed itself even before the reason was explained.

Bad experiences from hard core, bible pounding, fire and brimstone Christians, have been counter productive and drove people away from the faith. And Unfortunately the core belief that go with it as well. Where it should only create in the least an aversion to the PEOPLE who deliver such negativity. As I made a case once in an online forum.
One can not argue that at least 8 of the 10 commandments are a great set of universal rules to live by. Least we forget "Love thy Neighbor as thyself". They are guidelines as to how to treat others. What I went on to say was that we should not let a bad experience which hard core types steer us away from the reality of demons.

Also do not let you faith detour you away from the truth. These are inhuman, malicious entities, evil by there very nature. No matter if you place a ’fallen angel’ original on them or not. It should be understood that their behavior alone suggest that they are fallen angels. And we rely upon this piece of information to better understand how they infest ones lives. From Temptation to Possession. So as we find that all of the Christian Denominations do not agree on Demons, and the belief varies enough to say they are missing the whole picture. As I said, one point here is that the bible is an incomplete book. Most certainly, it would be absurd to believe all of the Christian Theology and teachings are in a bible so many short of pages? This is why a bible only teaching can be lacking, even some key elements.

(I know this isn’t politically correct to say this)
Then you had a man who modified the bible, some consider a hero. But in truth one who modified the bible from the compilation in the 5 century.
Thus, an even more incomplete bible, also words were inserted that distorted the true meaning. The King James first bible was believed to have over 20,000 errors within it.

I often wondered why they would build from the Lutheran bible and not go back to the Bible compiled in the 5 century to re-translate it properly?

(Example: Look at the New King James versions, and how they realize that a word meaning "ALONE" in Romans 3.28 was not in the original Greek text)

I make this point in saying that some fundamentalist Christians are judging Catholics/Orthodox, unfairly based on their own derived interpretations of the bible…

Second, they are missing some key and very effective methods because of these ’interpretations’. (i.e. using Crucifixes, holy water) I say don’t ignore what works simply because of what your preacher taught you about us evil "Catholics" when you were a kid...

PART 2:

Many are aware of how difficult it can be to get help through todays Catholic church.
That nightmarish "Red tape", Liberal priest whom don't even consider the devil and his minions might be active in this day of age.  As this once valude and more open resource has closed it doors, to where often we go to Others Christian Denominations for "Deliverance" help. (I don't do exorcisms)

I contacted Client recently, found he is doing well.

That's good

An "Assemblies of God" Church ministry did another deliverance session with him. And he is doing better.

They had him renounce him Catholic faith, Rebuked the Demon of Catholicism, Had him renounce the saints mentioned in prayers I HAD SENT HIM.  This client "was" Catholic, as I see with Demonbuster.com many protestants are quite prejudice against the Catholic Faith.

Even renounce the "Trinity", see some of the fundamentalist believe just because the word 'trinity' is used to describe a pagan deity, the thinking is in that if also OUR (Catholics) reference to this is the origin.  I am so tired of people who don't read and research to evolve beyond "ignorant".
(BTW, You self-proclaimed "Dr." scientist out there who criticize my work, you are next on my list of rants as this also applies to you!)

So I guess I'll be adding more to my writing ina  sort of "Catholicism for Dumb-A$$es" (pardon my french), It is the HOLY TRINITY (Which means "Holy three" for you fundamentalist out there), God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

These so-called Christians also say we do the sign of the cross as an "Upside down cross", calling us "Satanic" how absurd!

Yes, I have written of this before, it is said I can safely turn to other Christian denominations in my growing network of "deliverance teams", without first asking a few questions so I know they are not "Catholic haters" for one.

Thank you for you time. If you are Catholic, feel free to give Kuddos, if you are not please
voice your opinions on this absurdity.

Thanks.

God Bless,

KD

You'll never unite the different denominations under one core belief.  Fundamentalists (in general) believe Catholics are "lost;" and staunch Catholics (in general) believe Fundamentalists are not part of the "true" church.  I subscribe to neither, but was a former fundamentalist teacher.

Good luck with that one!  ;)  - LC

Very well said which is why I am not a follower of any organized religion..too much time wasted on whos got the better version and who has the only truth...instead of working togehter to make this a better world... pay them no mind Ken..when they dont have the Catholics, Wiccans, Buddist  and Muslims etc.. to talk crap about.. they will turn amongst their own and peck each others eyes out...Ive seen it first hand, Even as a kid growing up in a church like that I never understood how people could be so damned hateful ..people who were suppose to be spreading the Love of God.  I rarely listen to church people anymore...I dont trust or believe their sincerity or their motives...I dont blame God.. I blame self righteous, hypocritical, holier than thou,closed-minded fanatics who throw around scare tactics and false rumors to keep their followers in line... for any lack of faith I may have in their teachings.

Im not Catholic but you can bet your butt I would call a priest first if I had a demon hanging around thats for sure!!! God Bless you sir for the work you do the knowledge you share and the people you help !

dont let it get to ya otherwise they win

Great Blog Ken : )

Though I am not Catholic, I have had Catholic Friends, Still do. I have enjoyed Friendly Discussions on our Beliefs & Faith. I even have Friends that discuss their Wicca beliefs with me. I believe we all can learn & educate each other. But you have to be willing to do this, and not have a closed mind to only Your belief.  For you just don't know what the Future holds, there may be a purpose for you/me to openly discuss different Beliefs. People Change : )

There are Ways for people to discuss this without always Attacking them or their Belief.

I have learned alot by communicating with you, Thank You : )

Wow, Ken...

Incompatible elements and inconsistencies between denominations of the Christian faith are numerous.  Widely discrepant conclusions under the umbrella of Christianity have, in the past, caused my mind to grapple with the valid points you've made here. Interpretation of religion is soooo deep and so very personal, but you've just provided much food for thought!

*off to the corner to ponder*
