Ouija

I was watching one of my favorite shows A Haunting which is on in the afternoons.  I work nights so I record it on my DVR.  Well i was sitting there watching, this one was based in Arkansas.  The house had a spirit of a little boy among others one spirit was a non-human.  Well the family contacts a paranormal research team. The team does the walk through and tells the family you have this and this and this evil spirit; we would like to contact it and whipped out a ouija board!!!


I am not an investagtor or an expert by no means.  Every place I have ever been on or looked stuff up says that these boards can be bad news....ecspecially with a non-human in the area.  I was floored when they did this anyone out there heard of this before?


Wasn't that a bad thing to do?  Or am I wrong and these ouija boards not as bad as I have heard?

Personally, if I knew for sure that it was an "evil" spirit in the house and the family wanted it gone, I would have done a cleansing, not provoke it.  I think some investigators get distracted from why they are at someone's home in the first place.


What was the result of the team using the ouija board?

there are many theories of what a Ouija is capable of. I personally never touch them.. *Bad exp. when I was young* I'm sure that some teams think they are no more harmful than Dowsing Rods or Crystals though.

I will only use a board with someone I know well.A kind compassionate person.We asked who was with us and got several responses that I was later able to verify thru records as the truth.Other people walked in wanting to use the board and we left.I always ask for protection when using such things or going into any area of such open doors.

I have several boards and I can't work them any more...Never had any bad experiences...Will not use for investigations...Nor does any other team member use them during investigations...
