What is the service that is provided? Confirmation that the homeowner is not crazy? Is the work a hobby / interest or a business? Businesses provide services.
If you are a public service minded community group you might ask for donations to support your work, not sure about charging.
I clear properties. People find that the space feels different, the phenomena are usually gone, etc. If the house was not selling, it usually sells, business improves, etc. If they felt ill they often feel better.
It's my business. I charge substantial fees for providing a unique and rare service and to allow me to focus all my time on this work.
