Cape Cod Community College Paranormal Lecture Series

Deborah Ahern

presenting

Ghostly Photos – Fact or Fiction

Did you ever wonder how all of the ‘alleged’ paranormal photographs and videos, circulating around the world, could be real? Well, they’re not! Join Ghost and Hauntings Director, Deb Ahern as she takes you through a crash course in Ghost Photography 101. During this discussion, such topics as camera equipment, ectoplasm, mists, shadows, faces, and the ever popular orb will manifest. She will also explain what her research and experiments, in this area, have revealed.

Hi, My name is Debbie and I am the Vice President and the Director of Ghost and Hauntings for Cape and Islands Paranormal Research Society.

I have been interested in the paranormal since I was a child; my first recollection of a brush with the paranormal being at the age of five. So, most things that I encounter as a paranormal investigator are inside 'the norm' for me.

I have a son and daughter, who are both in their mid 20s, and I love living on 'Haunted Cape Cod'.

Thanks for visiting!

Join Cape and Islands Paranormal Research Society (CAIPRS) in the Orb campaign! We have been in the field of paranormal investigating for over 7 years and have been dealing with the same issue in photography, Orbs.

I will not go into what an orb is or isn't, as a paranormal investigator you should already know. If you don't, you should read up on this "phenomenon".

These items will let you express what you think of Orbs until it is 99% unexplainable.
To get your NO ORB paraphernalia go to www.cafepress.com/noorbs

The $0.75 proceed from each item goes to the research and investigations of the orb.

Thank you for your support.

CHECK OUT OUR NEW MESSAGE BOARD AT

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE SOON!

We will publish our findings in print, .., and in public meetings to further the study of folklore and the rich history of Massachusetts and other communities who express interest in our activities. CAIPRS is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

You want to know what scares me most?

Our walk through Barnstable Village

There are ghosts, goblins, and ghouls

The dead here are surely cruel

The people have seen the ghosts

Now we’re the hosts

If we see dripping bloody writing on the wall we’d
hope it’s paint

But if not I’ll surely faint.

Want me to see a ghost?

Ha! Oh heck NO.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

When we are afraid we ought not to occupy ourselves with endeavoring to prove that there is no danger, but in strengthening ourselves to go on in spite of the danger. ~Mark Rutherford

Hi,  I used to live in So. Yarmouth in the 80's, I loved it.  I go there often to visit family and friends.  I would love to hear about the investigations you have had there.  Perhaps I have been there.  Ali

How have you been? I've been jam-packed with moving up to Portland,
writing, and shooting the next two episodes of my show "Haunted Hoax."
The first two, 10 minute long episodes and a short “RANTS & GRAVES”
about orbs are up on YouTube now. When you have a moment, I'd
appreciate it if you'd take a look and give me your input.

I’d also welcome any future show topics or hoax challenges if you've
seen any questionable, paranormal evidence on the web lately. I hope
you enjoy and share the program with your friends and colleagues. There
are more to come — as well as my third book this summer!

Have a haunted week.
