I used to like music. But then I got a job where I had a radio on by me 24/7. Over-repetition of songs and playlists by every station pretty much killed my interest in music.

300....I love that movie! and lets not forget my all-time favorite which is not surprisingly, Ghostbusters
2/5/08: Here's a PM I just got on the TAPS forum about my ebook:
Hey Chris, How's it going?...I ordered your book yesterday...I was up till 2 this morning reading it and studying it...You def. offer some great advice!...You show that people don't need all the crazy expensive equipment we see on shows and using simple common sense when looking for equipment and HOW to use equipment can give you a great chance for evidence when investigating...You should really write more books...You get straight to the point without the b.s. ...good job man! Here's my latest book review, from Brent Fair of TAPS (and a former partner):
"Upon reading this book, I quickly realized that I wasn't sifting through yet another cookie-cutter repeat that some paranormal authors publish. This book is in depth, well organized and is a very valuable tool in equipping yourself for paranormal research. I highly recommend reading it today!"

I've been "officially" investigating ghosts since 1999. That was the year that I had a very unpleasent entitiy move in with us. That experience is what got me interested in ghost hunting. I didn't feel that the people who came to investigate my house were all that competent. Thus, I set out to learn all I can about the paranormal.
Since then I have decided to do away with most of what is considered "accepted" knowledge and do what I think is right. Common sense rules in my opinion. I have my own ideas about things and don't worry too much about what others say. Here's why:
C TANNERS 1ST LAW OF THE PARANORMAL:
A ghost (or any other type of non-physical entity) can NOT be put in a cage, or a petri dish for study. It cannot be touched or intereacted with in anyway on demand. No tests can ever be done on it because you can't even prove it is there. Therefore ANYTHING that ANYONE says about ghosts MUST be taken with a grain of salt. Every theory is a best guess, nothing more. And that is a close as we will ever get!(and no diligent logging of temperatures and EMF readings will ever change that!)
A few quick things about me:
**Have been a independant investigator, as well as a previous member of the AGS, and a TAPS Family team before finding a home with COPS.
**First introduced the idea of using blacklight bulbs w/ aluminum reflector lamps to improve Niteshot clarity, as well as give another interesting form of lighting to run video in. (regardless of what a certain "guidebook" says, we did come up with it and can back that up!)
**Introduced the idea of using Laser-line projectors AKA Laser Levels both alone and in conjunction with video cameras as a new means of visual ghost detection. This is still in it's infancy, so stay tuned for results. EDIT 11/30/07: It has come to my attention that LGHS (Louisville Ghost Hunters Society) had the same idea and has used the lasers BEFORE I did. I guess that leaves me with coming up with the "T-Scanner" which is the handheld method I came up with. Think of it as a "laser-level-on-a-stick"
**Just finished writing a new ebook dealing with ghost hunting gear, and especially how to get more of it for less money. This is not the usual list of "EMF Meter, IR Thermometer, etc" thats already been done a hundred times. This will be beneficial to everyone, and give them some new ideas and insight into creative use of equipment in ghost hunting. If you want to learn ways to find your gear and get it much cheaper, you need to read this!
**Served in the US Navy for 10 years as a Damage Controlman / Fire Marshal, Firefighter, Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear Defense Specialist. I have been around the world 2X and visited over 20 countires. Honorably Discharged.
I currently work alongside 2 other COPS members as a CNC Saw Operator for Columbus Jack Corp.

"When the trees their summer splendor Change to raiment red and gold, When the summer moon turns mellow, And the nights are getting cold; When the squirrels hide their acorns, And the woodchucks disappear; Then we know that it is autumn, Loveliest season of the year." - Carol L. Riser, Autumn

When we are afraid we ought not to occupy ourselves with endeavoring to prove that there is no danger, but in strengthening ourselves to go on in spite of the danger. ~Mark Rutherford
Great to meet you. It's good to have you as a
friend. When you have a moment, the first two, 10 minute long episodes
of my show HAUNTED HOAX and a short RANTS & GRAVES about orbs are
up on YouTube now. Take a look and let me know what you think.
I’d also welcome any future show topics or hoax challenges if you've
seen any questionable, paranormal evidence on the web lately. I hope
you enjoy and share the program with your friends and colleagues. There
are more to come — as well as my third book this summer!
