Ghostly Talk is the worlds premier weekly independent talk show about the paranormal. The focus is the scientific and logical study of paranormal activities. Ghostly Talk uses common sense with uncommon topics.

Ghostly Talk is currently broadcast live, Sunday nights from 6:00pm to 9:00pm ET. A large number of affiliates support the show through live broadcasting and re-broadcasting throughout the week over the Internet, AM and FM broadcasts. Archives of shows are available at the Ghostly Talk web site, www.ghostlytalk.com, and also in podcast format at http://www.ghostlytalk.com/gt.rss.

Doug has been interested in paranormal topics since reading a book on witchcraft from his school library. He has paranormal books since then, his favorite subjects being out of body experiences, Edgar Cayce, ESP, prophesies, and ghosts. While surfing the Internet in 2001, he was happy to learn that other people actually went prowling about cemeteries and haunted places looking for ghosts. Since then, he has been an avid ghost hunter. Doug had previously broadcast with WTWR, school station for University of Detroit. He received his Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences and Information Systems from that University, as well. Upon meeting Scott L on a ghost hunt, Doug suggested doing an Internet talk show about ghost hunting. The premier of Ghostly Talk in February 2002 has gone from 1 listener to (how many) regularly.

Doug continues to host Ghostly Talk from "The Haunted Winery" In Warren, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. His involvement in Ghostly Talk & the paranormal has made him an interesting speaker at conferences and meetings around the U.S.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI, Scott L. became interested in the paranormal as a young child when he bought his first book 'Haunted Houses' by Larry Kettelkamp. Intrigued and frightened by this book, Scott L. developed an adolescent interest in the paranormal that ooted itself firmly into the boys mind through the present day:

"For a while, with college going on and being a professional musician, I didn't have time to really pursue the paranormal field as extensively as I wanted to."

It was when Scott L graduated from Wayne State University with a major in Operational Logistics and minor in Information Systems Development, that he had the time to pursue his passion. How did he get into radio though?

"Honestly, I have wanted to do radio for a very long time. I had some downtime from playing music about 5 years ago, and it was a something that went through my mind a lot. Unfortunately, I had no contacts at the time to break in and try to pursue it. When I met Doug after doing a lot of ghost hunting and talking about the paranormal, he asked if I wanted to try to do an internet talk show on the subject(s), I jumped at the opportunity."

Scott L. continues to host Ghostly Talk from "The Haunted Winery" In Warren, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. His involvement in Ghostly Talk & the paranormal has made him an interesting speaker at conferences and meetings around the U.S.

John Zaffis and Loyd Auerbach, along with personalities such as George Lutz (of Amityville Horror House fame, R.I.P.), Tom and Lisa Butler (technical consultants for the film White Noise), and world renown spoon bender Uri Geller have graced the program with their wisdom and stories. Big names like actor Sid Haig (House Of A 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects), and legendary Singer/Writer/Actor Henry Rollins have made numerous appearances on Ghostly Talk, further widening the scope of the show to produce real, independent media on a consistent basis.

On August 26th, 2005, the crew of Ghostly Talk also made their first appearance on the worlds most listened to late night talk show, COAST TO COAST AM WITH GEORGE NOORY where Doug & Scott L showcased some of the evidence they have acquired over the last five years as paranormal investigators along with talking about some of their experiences as ghost hunters. They were heard by over twenty-five million listeners of COAST TO COAST AM that night which helped Ghostly Talk's popularity grow exponentially towards the end of 2005.

To this day, Ghostly Talk continues as the worlds premier independent resource for the paranormal. Serving tens of thousands of listeners per week with live feeds and archived broadcasts along with a consistent four million page hits a month, Ghostly Talk, on its fifth year of production, has grown into a thriving independent, paranormal information powerhouse.

The Essence of a New Day Author Unknown
This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...let it be something good.
